I hope they have a way to get the ship without the level boost and excess sometime. I actually prefer leveling my characters from beginning to "end". The journey is far more fulfilling than the destination. Max level is the end of the road for most of my characters.
So as not to restate what many others have said, I agree with pretty much all of the "pros" that have been mentioned. This is, in my opinion, the only Star Trek game worth investing any time into. The only con I really have is that multiplayer (TFOs and such) isn't much fun. Unless you know the maps like the back of your…
This. Plus I will bypass every item that is sold in singles, even if it costs way more than buying the same amount as singles just to spite them. You say it's a waste of EC? I say you can't waste something that isn't real.
I found that you have to go through and claim each of the items once you open the main Temporal Special Agent pack. 0718 is located in the "Items" tab. I did notice that the TOS Mirror Universe outfit and the TOS Command Tunic are not available and are asking for me to pay for them, even though they were part of the…
Personally, I would like to see some of that UI work and lighting improvements and such become part of the cross platform hype. But alas, we PC users will just get to play same bugged out mess we have today. I'm not buying a console just to play what Cryptic has made clear is going to be a far superior version of the game.…
The thing is, the game is free to play. Twenty bucks for even half an expansion is far better than the 60+ dollars that most other games make you pay for their expansions. So I would say you're getting a decent value there.
Aliens wouldn't bother with us. We pose no threat or challenge to an interstellar species. We're still playing with our technological "advances" like a 5 year old with a new toy.
Looks legit to me. Just out of curiosity, I'm wondering, if it doesn't please you, why even bother with it? There are much better ships that are attainable. Just because it's free doesn't mean you absolutely "must have it or the universe will implode". Did you sign some kind of contract binding you to acquire this…
I didn't experience any lag on Risa. I did get there as soon as the server went up, so there may not have been as many people there as there will be this weekend.
I see a difference. Sure, there are those that have the same tendencies, but it's not nearly as prominent here as it is in WoW. People here have been more helpful and less toxic than anything I experienced in WoW. Not always, mind you, but definitely more frequently. My Fleet has been infinitely more helpful then any Guild…
You have to understand that World of ******** just lost 3 million subs in less than 4 months. I played that game for almost 10 years. If there's one thing I know about the WoW population, it's that they are the most self entitled crowd I have ever seen. They truly believe they deserve to everything handed to them for as…
After not playing for two years, I just made a new character. I came back in time for the Delta Recruit event, so that helped a lot. Even without the event, I still would have done the same. Now I almost barely have an idea of what I'm doing. My Fleet helps a ton. When I have questions, most of the time someone has an…
I understand what you're saying. For me, it made him seem more human. We all have faults. My parents weren't perfect either. Then again, I got much more out of the documentary than what kind of parent he was. To me it was a journey of discovery for the son.
I also crashed on this several times before doing a little bit of research. After turning off "camera shake" in the options, I only crashed once and then finished the mission. I believe something about the cryo grenade effects and the camera shaking together causes the crash.
