The current workaround for this is to target an enemy ship and then untarget it. This will let you regain control of your ship

I was having this problem for a few days. The first time it happened the servers crashed and were offline for hours. I was inthe middle of a CureSpace too. The next day it happened to me in Infected Space. Me and two other players kept getting kicked and having to log back in. I don't know what's with all the DCs lately

Yesterday I logged on after being off the game for several hours. I was then able to buy a new Emergency Security Hologram. I guess we had to wait to give the hologram a holo-funeral before buying a new one?
