Sorry Brandon but that does nill. I have tried it over and over with a minute increase in speeds for a few seconds then just freezes up. Please smack some sense into these archaic severs Cryptic is running.

Cheers that you have such a passive attitude and can just not care about how horrid the dl speed is. Some people actually have limited time and were excited to play today. Take your nose out of cryptics backside.

It is only typical for a company that has no clue on how to put out a decent dl speed for a patch. Plenty of games with way more players patch weekly with no issue. Stop making excuses for Cryptic. I did preload the patch but it still needed 50mb to launch and those 50mb have been taking over 4 hours to dl. Not my…

It is a bunch of tribbles working at Cryptic. Started the dl at 7am pst and still need another 1.5 gigs which at the rate it is going it wont be till next week. Lifetime member since beta.

Welcome to not having your servers right after many years. Plenty of mmos patch that day really fast. Sheesh my last 900mb massive updated for League of Legends which has millions of players took no more then 3mins. It is Cryptic being baboons and not getting server dl speeds right.

We all know that their is a massive influx of people dl the game. That was expected, they could of easily dripped the patch out last week like many other MMO teams do, no need to use that as a excuse for cryptic. They dropped the ball again, nothing new.

Started the dl at 7am PST 6 hours and 20min later and still need 1600mb. This is just insane, sorry cryptic this is not your first rodeo you money hungry monkeys.

This is worse then a massive game launch. 10k a sec dl speeds, WTH Cryptic get off your AOL Dial up plan and give us a decent DL process. Over 4 hours and I still have not DL 250mb.

If they had a clue then the patch would of been rolled out in small chunks over the last week and just unlocked it all for everyone on today. Yes we could of got most of it from test server but who knows if that file would of not been the final patch but what do I know I am just a average gamer.

I am with you. Very horrible dl speeds for the last few %. Going to take till tomorrow to get the last 250mb i need.

Been hovering at 90% for over a hour, these DL speeds are just horrid. 15mb is what I avg on steam. STO is running at 100k a sec bleh
