I have a kit frame and kit modules still missing from my alt, Mi'shune@1nONLY_DRock This is despite the recent update to the game that claimed to fix this issue. Kit frame is the Romulan embassy frame. I have forgotten what kit modules were on it.
Someone told me about instance switching. That's working for me. Still not happy. Also not happy that they've turned kits into yet another dil sink. Oh well. Them's the breaks. Update: Belay that. One of my alts refused to return my stuff using the instance switching trick. On top of that I can't equip a new kit frame on…
How the hell am I supposed to remember all the kit modules that went missing on multiple alts? I have missing modules on all alts (I have 9), and missing kit frames and their accompanying module on two alts ( Corgan@1nONLY_DRock and Mi'shune@1nONLY_DRock ) If I'd known I had to keep a record of my inventory off the game I…
What I don't get is that everyone else seems to be bothered about using a temporal weapon that could alter reality itself EXCEPT for the NPC characters in the actual game. A huge oversight IMHO.
Can't speak for the others but I'm being blunt. I've given quite a bit over the years to this game in time and money. Yet it seems to keep up I'm being asked to do even more. I do not like this.
Then in this case I will cease spending on STO until there I know how it's going to affect my current equipment. After all, what's the point of buying anything with dil, be it fleet holdings or new equipment, if it's going to be pointless?
I'd have to join in on this revolt by saying that one year of grinding for ANYTHING, much less a crafting school, is incredibly unreasonable and must be changed immediately. I'm willing to put up with three months to complete all schools. No further.
My question to you... 1). Why resilient over covariant? Wouldn't the glass cannon be at a disadvantage if it was using resilient? 2). Counter Command gear is an odd choice. What makes you recommend it? 3). How would you deal with the huge power drain associated with using beam array overload, especially since you've got…
So far... very helpful! Thank you. I will start upgrades immediately. Oh, I will have to wait awhile after all. Blew through my fleet credits thanks to all that stupid spire junk... *L*
I'd be hard pressed to give up APO. I like it for slipping out of tractor beams and other movement limiting effects. But I'll try APB, see how it works.
To answer your questions: Budget: The sky's the limit. Preferred Weapon Type: None. Tend to go for synergies (if it's a romulan set I'll use plasma, etc). Style: Tend to go for balanced, but if I had a choice it'd be a dogfighter. Other Limits: This character has to have maximum skill points in his ground skills. He is…
I understand your concerns. I have found ground pvp players to adopt very similar methods of play. Scis, engineers and tac officers tend to be the same, use the same equipment, even tend to use the same race (Caitians). That won't change because frankly they're effective and nobody wants to give up an edge. Me, I use…
Then to argue p2w's point, if the point is to go after contested resources then any and all combat should center around said contested resources, not the spawnpoint. By making spawnpoints harder or even impossible to attack you then keep the combat where it belongs, at those contested points. You could say that suppressing…

Hmph. All this debate and nothing's getting solved. UPDATE: I've gotten more of my fleetmates to donate dil and I've done more active recruiting. Still not enough to fulfill fleet demands for current and future projects, but this is something that is going to take time to show any tangible results. Dilithium is…
Though I'd rather not give any detractor of mine a victory... I have to concede defeat. Ok, so I guess my point about dilithium being priced too high by using starships as an example doesn't hold up. They win. I lose. I don't like it but I have no choice but to accept it. I'll pay for dilithium at a price I do not like…
Tell me about it! I tried awhile ago, just after the update to allow Romulan/Omega marks to be cashed in for dilithium took hold. I thought... 'That should get some supply in. People will have dilithium to sell off again. Besides, nobody in their right mind would drop the price lower than the 110 mark....' God was I wrong.…
