The cool thing about that combo is the "mixed armaments." The Delta Flyers go in first with the shield stripping and then the Callisto's follow up with torp spread.
Just a report that I have 3 epic geared sci support carrier builds each with a different class. I have around 60k dps with all of them. To some that's good and others that's bad. I'll let you decide if this needs to be fixed or not.
Must be what all the cool kids are saying. I'm a school spelling bee winner and have a perfect SAT score in English yet never heard it or seen it used before. ;)
I certainly support people's willingness to report bugs. However, the bug I'm referring to is so painfully obvious that it falls under the category of Cryptic's awareness of their own product. The obligatory "do they even play this game?" applies here. There have been multiple threads about this one on reddit and if by…
Literally none of that is my responsibility. Even reporting them is not my responsibility as seems to be the implication around here as well. Besides that, I don't buy the argument that when a permanent visual bug shows up in a high traffic area immediately after a patch that somehow they don't have a clue how to fix it.
Ok so the argument is these bugs are low visibility or hard to repeat or not reported? I've been looking at those jacked up NPC's at academy daily for months. If you expect me to take these arguments seriously you are mistaken.
I think you mean 90% of the reddit users who were upset by this posted a complaint. I guarantee you the majority of the users of r/sto weren't even aware a 24 hour shutdown occurred.
One of my biggest involvements with the STO community was regarding a situation very similar to this in which I sided with the forum users. However, in this case the cause is more than justified for a 24 hour shutdown. People losing their lives over online idiocy is vastly more important than your star trek forum.
If the offending comment wasn't offensive to begin with, then it would not have been moderated. If it was moderated, then it follows that the comment was offensive. If you can't be bothered to edit yourself to be non-offensive, why does it become my responsibility to edit you, so that your comment can be read without…
When a comment like "I don't know why my previous post was deleted" is followed by "post deleted for discussing moderation" including the part that was relevant to the topic at hand things are a bit heavy handed. Just delete the offending comment which wasn't offensive to begin with.
That's exactly what it is a drain build. Only saying try out different things and without trying you'll only have someone's word as whether it works or not. Bottom line is it's fun and different even if it's "sub-optimal"
Shields. Borg don't even scratch them on advanced content. There's your survivability. Probably the main reason I listen to youtubers with a skeptical gaze.
Sounds like your definition of sub-optimal is based on dps. Been around way way too long to be enslaved by the pointless quest for more dps. If that is your "quest" more power to you. But you should be more open minded about playing the game and as Spock would say "there are always alternatives"
I know I'm in the minority here but that's exactly how I play. Tac/Tac Ultimate/Tac ship Sci/Sci Ultimate/Sci Ship Eng/Eng Ultimate/Eng Ship Basically did it to be different, but let me tell you it's FUN!
My only point I've been trying to make is that i see people come in and blast away at the transformers with beam overload and all 4 generators up all the time. It's doing nothing for your team and padding your dps meter. I even recently saw a youtuber do it. Please don't do that.
My previous post had some anger in it but I'm not sure I would categorize it as a flaming. When I see prominent youtubers use beam overload on a transformer with 4 generators on it to solely pad their dps numbers I get annoyed. (Post restored after further review. - BMR)
Here's how I look at it. As long as Cryptic/PWE/Gearbox and whoever else keeps STO F2P generous I have no problem with whatever price they choose. It's the predatory gambling that needs to be removed.
The biggest problem I have with this so far is I am now FORCED to use a loadout when I never had to before. So every single stinkin time I move an item around on my ship or change something on my taskbar I have to go to a specific screen and tab and save? Unacceptable.
