There was a major IP based game that let you be a crafter if you wanted. It closed late last year.

Anyone that thinks it would have been fun to change anti-matter levels the entire time you play is either drunk or lying. It would be like role-playing a townsperson in a starter town on WoW. Funny for five minutes, not for hours on end.

Seems like the people with alts enjoy the game as a game and not as a race to be l33t. I have 3 chars, but i focus on one. The others will sometimes run STFs or grind dil, but have minimal rep progress. Planning to unlock 4 slots once i trade for another 300 zen.

I don't know why people have such aggression towards the DOFF system. Don't like it? Don't use it. I like it. I see no reason not to gather the small amount of resources, sometimes not so small. Helps with crafting, dil. I'm very unhappy it's so expensive to get the recruitment tasks now, but what can you do?

Michael Dorn had been trying to raise money for some sort of project as well, but cut off his attempts. I don't know, I see this fundstarter stuff for people who have no other options. Successful actors have other options, they don't need to be begging their fans for 10s of dollars.

Eh, doesn't really look that promising. Walter looks old as ****, but I suppose he's should as he is. As much as I'd love a new Trek series, I think that day is a long way off. We'll probably get 2-3 further movies in the current series before the idea is even floated.
