unable to play game for over two months

I have been unable to play game for over two months, keeps coming up internet explorer security error. Then unable to launch with the auto launcher, Support ticket 121207-000163. I've done all the downloads and still doesn't work. I've had this game for three years and it ran great until a couple months ago. I have not had any response to this problem. If I don't soon get help, I'm considering consulting an attorney. You have no problem taking my money but not giving customer service.
I recommended your game to my son and he enjoyed it until a couple months ago when he started having the same problems. If I don't soon get a response we intend to cancel our subscription and consult legal action.

You're threatening a lawsuit over the loss of $30?

Also, you kept paying even though you couldn't log in?

did u reinstall your PC's operating system? Seems to me like you could have some kind of security problem ..

you could consider installing a new system on another drive and try running STO from there (fresh download)

1- Go read your terms of service.

2- Good luck suing them for money you pissed away because you were too lazy to remove your credit card information.

3- You decide to drop a threat of legal action on the general forum, signing your name as if it gives it some sort of weight? LOL good sir. I look forward to seeing where this goes.

Theres a very simple solution to this: Clear your cookies..
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

    How computer savvy are you?

    Tell me these things:

    a) internet explorer - what does this have to do with the game/launcher?

    b) have you done a complete uninstall/re-install

c)did you clear out the computer registry(game files remain there after an uninstall)

    D) did you defrag the hard drive

    e) anything else

The launcher is based on IE, but will work with others... Common knowlege

As for your other questions... LOL.

Interesting to know - I have always launched the game through steam.

But the most important thing that could be TRIBBLE things up - other than any security setting - is old files lurking in the registry.

First post rage-poster....this surprises us how?

Here's a suggestion: What did you change in the past two months that may be contributing to this issue? Have you done a System Restore (for the love of all things holy, NOT to be confused with a recovery, which reformats the HD, SR only undoes changes after the chosen restore point) to roll back your PC to the last time STO was working, find out if that does the trick, and then gone from there to determine what the issue may be?\

FYI: System restore does NOT affect data files, it only rolls back registry changes, installed programs, and any hardware changes to a user-defined restore point. Therefore any documents, pics, videos, and the like are unaffected.

Something as simple as an IE update gone wonky may be contributing to this issue. Good old Micro$oft.
