If you think the omega game is bad on the pc. You should try it on the console its a joke. PC I score 2300-2700 Console I score 400-760 and put in twice the effort :/

From the point of view of someone who has worked really hard to collect all their gear and level it all up to epic quality. Nerfing is a means to take all that away.

For the past several weeks ever map change has been a gamble as to whether I am going to get Dec or not(winter Wonderland Event). The cmd fix didn't work for me unfortunately. However! I discovered this by accident. Get the Arc launcher to try and open up a second game launch window. Didn't work for me either. Game launcher is just hanging, with a message "Logging in please wait" with some flashing icons below it. I could get to the character select screen. When I clicked [Play] it said the "server was not available"....or something like that.

Just a shame the R&D has been bugged since patch and we can no longer queue Omega projects :(. Hope they fix it soon.

Unable to set multiply projects on the Omega traces projects, like everyone else above. Hope they apply a fix for this really fast, as it will have a massive negative impact on people who have to go to work.

Ah what!....I have been holding back on my last rep projects for several weeks for nothing! I have let more dil slip away over the past few weeks, by not finishing the reps, than I will earn now. Was counting on that dil boost, to make holding on to those last rep projects worth it. Stupid me huh! for not seeing this one…

ESD exterior Omega mini-game is still bugged. Completed the mini game several dozen times and got a trace/sliver/shard/fragments, but still not been creddit for Q mission. I to hope the Devs aren't going to turn round and call us exploiters and remove all the traces we have earned.

Reading through this thread and others like it nobody has spotted/stated the obvious! Now if I was working late what would I do? Oh yes tell the boss we need more time to complete whatever we are doing., even if it was almost done...in other words the Devs are on overtime now, so aren't going to hurry :D

Well I can't say I am surprised guys! A typical day in the life of Cryptic. They have invented a system to save fleets from FA who go permanent afk nice idea in theory. But when used in a fleet with multiply leaders completely goes balls up. Guys don't expect a fix for this, they'll be to busy working on new content.

This downtime can't be to fix server stability, server was fine(for me at least) until the second shard shutdown announcement. Then BANG!.. oh the lag hit like a brick wall, from nowhere! Its so bad even forum is lagging really badly. Guessing thats due to all STO players being on the forum.

Cryptic, just shut the game down for 24-48 hours. Give yourself's some room to breath. You will never sort out the bugs stop/starting the shards, the way you are doing now. What your doing at the moment, is really vexing your customers. Well I am hoping this downtime sorts some bugs out, you really need to make this one…

Here is a thought, Cryptic. If the patch you have just added (which is obviously no good), why don't you just scroll back the game to yesterdays settings? Seems simple enough to me! That's what I do when me PC gets a fault. And I don't even have any fancy qualifactions in IT/software ETC, but even I can work that one out.

I was fine, upto a about 20-25 minutes ago then game stopped responding, went to change character...big mistake, now can't get back online..."Login failed for unkown reason" To be fair, it is the first day of the new expansion, so these things are unavoidable.
