the shaderCache.hogg is patching really slow for me too

i have the same issue, though im using a wineskin wrapper(which also emulates windows XP) i dont like having to use the "forceful quit" button to get out of game"

i had that once after i had patched tribble, all i did was exit game, and in the launcher it patched something else and all was good.
