Same here, just had the Space version (Point Blank Shot), and when I checked on Niza@nPoon, it's gone and I now have the ground version (Up Close and Personal)
Maybe? It worked for Iden on Ha'Dara which was labeled as Class-Y, though the Hirogen seemed fine with it so it is iffy. But what I was getting at was he doesn't beam in with an EV suit, or some functional equivalent for a hologram.
These are really beautifully done. I was able to guess which of the new ones corresponded to the current icons in the preview article, so kudos. The tactical icon overhaul in particular make each icon more distinct and informative. Overall they should help ease the learning curve for newer players/returning players, but…
Seconded. If you attempt to swap it out with another kit module, the game will supply the only one of a unique item may be equipped message. If you attempt to unequip the module, it will supply an Inventory full and unique item message. If you attempt to drag the module out of the kit frame, it will supply two unique item…
I noticed this after purchasing the Pathfinder (Long Range Science Vessel T6) and switching to it. When I switch between a ground map and a space map, it reverts my power tray to some weird hybrid between the way I had it set up from before, and emptying certain slots. It's always the same reconfiguration when I switch…
If you're trying to heal someone in your team, look at the order they appear on the side bar. pressing F1 will target yourself. The first person (at the top) of the bar will be targeted by F2. The second F3, the third by F4, the fourth by F5 and the fifth by F6. As it's been stated previously, autofire will break your…
Tribbles (and Tribble Corpses) can also be used in doff missions. You can use specific type to use in a doff mission to get another, more potent buffing tribble. You can also use their corpses (made by leaving a cannibal tribble with a regular or uncommon tribble) in Klingon bounty or cooking missions. The bounty missions…
I'd like to believe that too, but I haven't seen it happen to me yet. Ironically, even with the private queues back up, I can't get 19 other people together simply for the object of testing this one, so it's just trial and error with complete strangers.
Just be EXTREMELY careful when you're near a Alpha or Beta if you're going to use a close range weapon like a pulsewave. If you pulsewave when the Beta confuses you, you're going to be shooting a lot more than just the Salt Vampires since Pulsewave fire on either setting goes through multiple targets. If you're close to an…
The name of the resources tells you which district it belongs to. The name doesn't matter. But if you don't want to mess up the other team, you should use those resources to reinforce their structures if it doesn't belong to your district.
In regards to getting all the buildings fortified, it is possible, but that means you've probably taken the resources away from another district. Precision weapons are nice, and they keep you from XCOM panicing when your confused by a Beta, but they also don't help clear out the salt vampires as fast. Pulsewaves aren't the…
On a normal run with Fleetmates: ~15 minutes. On an elite run with random players: ~1 hour. On an elite run with Fleetmates: ~45 minutes. For elite, the bulk of the time spent in the run is waiting for the respawn timer to run and the slug fest involved with the +2 and+4 enemies. 1/3 of the run is just fighting off the…
From what I can gather from what you've written, you may be referring to the Duty Officer system. You don't train the officers per se, they're more like trading cards that you collect and send off on missions through the Duty Officer menu. Only the Common (White colored) Duty Officers can be killed off.
If you have a Caitain, jump towards the corners of the crates adjacent to the lockbox, then when you at a height level to the box, make a running jump and you'll make it. It's just fluff though, I wasted a good 60ish seconds getting up there after an incursion.
