I've been having the same problem for about the last two weeks. Whenever I transition between maps, it hangs at 40% and change. It doesn't crash on its own. Instead, I have to force-close it. Might as well add me to the list. Hopefully, the devs will consider this cause for an "emergency patch" and not wait until Thursday. They have done it before, though rarely. I just want my last two DR rewards, which are waiting on the bug fix.

Count me in on this one, too. I was getting the shader thing last year, but ever since the last update, the game has been crashing with a Direct3D error. And yes, I'm another 550 Ti user. With all the TRIBBLE that's been happening to me lately, I wouldn't be able to afford a new card for at least another year...

Okay, noob question here. How do I recognize a fleet project? I'm on what I'm told is a tier 4 starbase, but I don't see anything that even remotely looks like a place to donate things. Can somebody help me?

I'm getting the same problem. Even after getting the new launcher (which I had to save at another location then cut/paste), it's getting stuck at the "Loading. Please wait" message. I'm not even getting to the login screen! EDIT: Looks like I've run into the same Cogent server routing problem others have. It's timing out…

For those stuck in "Blue Purgatory", start an old episode, then use the TRANSWARP button. It'll cost you some EC, but it's better than having to wait for a GM to get you out.
