1 Fleet Mark is worth 50 Fleet Credits and 1 dilithium is worth 1 Fleet Credit when donated to fleet projects.

So i have to donate what i can? What about fleet events dont they give fleet creds?

Fleet events give you bonus Fleet Marks.

Spend Fleet Marks on Starbase projects to get Fleet Credits

    Yes, in the holdings.

If you have millions of EC, you can get white DOffs off the exchange. Otherwise, wait until another project is available.

You need about 20k fleet creds per weapon which is not cheap lol have you got fleet weapons?
  • sumghaisumghai Member Posts: 1,072 Arc User

I don't have any fleet weapons yet, but I do want to replace all my pre-S7 Borg STF Phasers and Torps (eventually). For now, what I have seems to suffice in STFs.

I usually spend my FCs on fleet duty officers to feed the glue factory or the occassional Fleet PSG/Personal Armor upgrade.

The only thing you can do at this stage is to stock up on lots of Fleet Marks, wait patiently until your fleet opens new projects needing them, then contribute the Fleet Marks to earn Fleet Credits.

AFAIK there's no direct way of magically turning FM's into FCs, nor are they earnable as mission rewards.

You can always calculate when a project finishes and donate the second a new one opens. There are also lots of fleets that are in desperate need of contributors where it takes over a day to complete a project.

Its a shame ypu cant contribute the marks and ypu get credits but the marks go in a bank for when there needed rather than waiting for someone to donate

    Define "decent"....

If you want gear that's adequate for doing STFs... do the Jem Hadar FEs. It's not top-shelf gear, but it's good enough to keep the Borg from rofl-stomping you.

You should join Klingon intelligence Fleet.

I went today from 128,000 fleet credits to over 164,000 thousand and I have 5,000 unrefined dilithium left. That's a gain 36,000 fleet credits in a day.

Took me awhile, but I think I've mastered the art of earning fleet credits,,except I don't use alts to farm it.

What I do is Officer reports which gives both 50 fleet credits and 960 dilithium for playing spotlight foundary missions, pick empire betrayed foundary mission. The thing you got to realize is that officer reports require 30 minutes between officer reports, but the count down starts right away, so by the time its over, the timer is like 12 to 15 minutes before you can do it again. Also note if you start an officer report before leaving the game for a time, you can basically do back to back officer reports.

and then choose all those space PVE qued events thingies that give fleet credits, do one of those and by the time your done, you should be able to do another officer report.

If you have a couple minutes to wait, pop over to Klingon/Starfleet Academy and go to the Orion, Nausicaan, Gorn and Imperial Personal officers to do duty officer missions for more duty officers, and even spend 1000 dil for the general recruitment.

Also if you have the contraband trade it in for 2000 dil doff mission with the security officer in the great hall.

Seriously I don't even have to leave Qournose anymore.

Also doffs give at least 300 fleets credits each.

Plus some missions will use stuff like stabalizers, particles, industrial cells as well.

If you net 200 fleet marks and dump them on a project that's 10,000 fleet marks right there.

Now all you need is a moderate sized fleet, one thay advances at a fair pace, but not so fast that there's no room for you.

My fleets just the right size I'm useful, but we get projects done at a fair rate.

Or, if you're a Fed player, there's Angry Tribbles - a nice casual fleet always needing FMs, and proceeding at a steady rate.

I'm in game right now (at time of writing), so I can float you an invite (@sumghai).

When both of us are in-game, and are of the same faction (i.e. both you and I are FED or you and I are KDF), I send you an invite to our fleet, and you join us.

Our fleet admin hid us from public search, so that's the only way it can be done.

    Yes thanks :D

Seriously though 200 fleet marks is only 4 officer reports. With my Polaron Sniper Rifle and skipping the dialog I can now do betrayal of the Empire in 15 minutes or less.

The load screens take longer then the non combat parts and there is only two ground battles. For me each is like 4 minutes roughly with my Polaron Sniper Rifle. Used to use a Plasma minigun that had a spray attack, but I've found to my surpise my Polaron Sniper Rifle does it quicker. Looks cool too. Works better. even against clusters of enemies.

Plus I run Jog faster with the Polaron Sniper rifle.

Once the mission is over I enter the PVE Queve for Fleet Marks, deal with my duffs missions till I'm called up, and do a space mission. When the mission is over I'm returned to that holodeck or whatever just outside the Great Hall, get another officer mission, go talked to worf for second go back where I was and start the whole thing again.

Pow, that's probably about 100 fleet marks or more per hour of of play (depends on how many fleet ones wins in space).

I reason I'm doing this is to save up FCs for the Corsair Retrofit Flight Deck Cruiser (200,000 FCs), which will save me 15 bucks on a Fleet Retrofit Corsair Flight Deck Cruiser.

That will complete my Corsair collection :D

Also remember that your fleet will have multiple projects on the go, both normal, upgrade, and special, so look at which each requires and contribute whatever you can, even if its not interesting to you, as most special projects are really just for people looking for a chance to contribute when the main projects are being done.

Once I have my Fleet Corsair, my next project will be the Jem'hadar set (non lobi verison) and building my fleets science tier 5 so I we can get Elite Slavers for my Corsairs. Oh and some Polaron Single Cannons and turrets. Better Consoles too.

Ha, the Corsair isn't a space set, its what you use a set on. Its a Orion Starship, one of the Orion's Flight Deck Cruisers.

Orion Flight Deck Cruiser are Daciot at commander, its cost a 1000 zen and is the only ship with a hangar at that Rank. Account unlock.

Next is the Corsair at Captian, this is the ship I'm using now, it costs 1500 Zen and its the only Captain Rank ship with a hangar.

Next its the Maurader, I don't have that one, I believe its for Brigader General Rank or Major General.

Next up is the Corsair Retrofit, which is like my current corsair, but buffed up with more hull, consoles, more Bridge Officer Powers. This one is my current goal, it costs 200,000 fleet credits. I'm at 180,000 fleet credits, it would have been higher, but I had work and server problems.

Lastly is the Boss Orion Flight Deck Cruiser, the Fleet Retrofit Corsair Flight Deck Cruiser. Its so bad*** it requires a sentance for a class name :D

It has more shields, hull, and one more console then the Retrofit Corsair, and it trades a Lt. Commander Enigeer for a Lt. Commander Science, and a Science Ensign for an Enigeer Ensign.

That makes for a very diverse Boff layout.

Its 20,000 fleet credits and 4 fleet modules, each fleet module costs $5. If you own a retrofit corsair, you only need 1 module.

So by buying the Retrofit I'm saving 15 bucks and getting a cool ship. By the end I'll have all the Corsairs, the complete group, Original, Retrofit, and Fleet.

Which means that tier six with a Dreadnaught Corsair should be released soon :p

I hate to be "that guy," but I don't believe the Corsair Retrofit unlocks the 75% discount for the Fleet Corsair. That discount is normally only available if you own a C-Store, Vice Admiral/Lt. General rank version of the fleet ship.

i.e. You get a 75% discount on the Fleet Exploration Cruiser if you own the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit, but not if you own the Exploration Cruiser Refit. Likewise, you don't get the discount if you obtained your Retrofit using a Lifer level 50 token rather than buying it on the C-Store.

To the best of my knowledge, this applies to retrofits purchased with fleet credit as well... only retrofits purchased through the C-Store unlock the discount.

Sorry I don't use steam and I'm using my smart phone to type this.

I got so many fleet credits because I did as I described above and have focused all my resources on it, Dil, Extra Doffs, Fleet Marks, stabalizers, Warp Coils, Particles, EC to buy warp coils, and so on.

Seriously my current Corsair is armed with random scraps picked off the battle field :D

My Deflector dish only boosts the Graviton skill and I don't even have any powers that use that skill :p

But I have a goal and make the sacrifices for it.
As for the C-Store, there was a thread on here by a guy who bought a normal Corsair from the C-Store only to find out it didn't reduce the cost of the Fleet Corsair. I own the normal corsair anyways, because its an account unlock. Its because you need the Retrofit Corsair, which the C-Store does not sell, you can only get it via Fleet Credits. There is no Refit Corsair, only Retrofit.

Refit is just an alternate verison of a ship at the same level as the original, Retrofit is a tier 5 ship upgrade of a lower tier ship. Both the Galaxy Cruiser in your example and the Corsair are originally tier 4 ships. Thier for Tier 5 versions are retrofits, tier 4 ships upgraded.

The Fleet Corsair is the Fleet version of the Retrofit Corsair, not the original tier 4 ship.

That's why you need the Retrofit Corsair for the discount.

Okay, noob question here. How do I recognize a fleet project? I'm on what I'm told is a tier 4 starbase, but I don't see anything that even remotely looks like a place to donate things.

    Can somebody help me?

Fleet Projects are accessed from the Fleet UI (one of the buttons on the bottom row under your Mini-map interface)

You must be a member of a Fleet in order to contribute to Fleet projects...
