That phrase was originally from the 7th episode of Enterprise's 4th Season, titled "The Forge." (It was part of the 3-episode Vulcan story-arc from that season) Good episode! The book's title was also inspired by that same episode. The full quote from the episode is: Syrran: "Infinite diversity in infinite combination.…
Amazing artwork! Please pass on my kudos to the artists! Great Stuff! Could you perhaps release more wallpapers in this artstyle in the future? :D Reminds me of the older wallpapers when STO came out.
I believe Star Trek is made up of the sum of many things, which - when combined - is what seperates our franchise from star wars or eve. The "Star Trek" part could describe many aspects. I for one quite enjoyed the addition of Dabo :D
True, I'm worried that the EP is devoting entire seasons to adding new gameplay systems, and then creating an environment where devs are forced to use their own personal free time to make improvements and bug fixes to those systems. Heretic spent hours of his personal time on fixing and adding to the doff system after its…
Agreed, sort of ironic, especially when the rest of the ask cryptic answers were themed at "investing in systems for the future," and yet the possibilities for revenue and ways to tie into the doff system, etc from chess or poker are completely overlooked. Bug fixing and adding new gameplay features should both be…
They could always "schedule" time for it to actually appear in a season officially. I don't really like the idea of the management relying on the goodwill of a dev to use their own personal time to add in a highly requested feature.
Really amazing work! Makes me wish there was a tholian faction so I could fly all of these! Please post more pics like this in the future, very appreciated
Sounds like the Enterprise E completed some kind of mission in Fluidic Space that averted a war with the Undine. I believe the Enterprise was lost in the process, though Data managed to save himself and the crew. Would be nice to see this ingame someday instead of hidden away in Star Trek Magazine! ;)
How about 1 STF that requires a TOS or TMP era ship. It'll be easier than creating a second game. (Similar to "Shuttle-Only" missions) I imagine the STF would also be set in an event from the TMP movie series. Perhaps some time traveler has decided to alter events, and The Guardian of Forever sends us back to stop them…
It would make a nice T2 ship. Wish the ENT tv series would have gotten the chance to show this in season 5. Ah well, at least the game is still alive.
