  • Not much to see, literally just a line of text at the bottom left... https://imgur.com/a/VGNn90o
  • Yup. "Unable to authenticate: Lost connection to Account Server" I know they took the server down earlier today. Is this a symptom? Of course, I just *had* to hit Logoff instead of Change Character by mistake. Now can't get back in. :# I guess I'll just go make lunch and hope Cryptic can get things working.
  • So if a main character's bum warmed the captain's seat it qualifies as a Promo Ship? :D I'd say the Inquiry (silly name if not a Sci ship) looks like a kitbash, but can you kitbash things that are virtual? That deflector and secondary hull looks like they grabbed an electric razor and glued a saucer and nacelles to it. ;)
  • I would assume Klingon technology would be more focused on military stuff and that any consumer goods would probably be very rudimentary.
  • People might be more excited for a bonus dilithium refining weekend. :D Maybe it'd get the price of Dil under 400.
  • True, so maybe those ships would have to be a mini-bundle. But many of us have purchased most of those C-store ships in the past and so buying a bundle that is 70% things we already have isn't very nice either. If I didn't have most of those ships already I would have been overjoyed to get that pack for the sale price they…
  • Would I buy a single one? Yes. Would I pay more than 3000 Zen? No.
  • Fed ships have a pretty straightforward design philosophy so hard to mess with them too much if you still want them to look Fed-ish. Obviously they thought the movie/TNG Klingons looked too 'made for TV' and wanted more alien-ness. Same thing with the old Wing Commander movie. The Kilrathi in the game were cat aliens. In…
  • I pretty much consider disruptors the most common weapon in Trek. Probably just as simple as the show had the mindset of humans use phasers & aliens use disruptors.
  • Yes, my LTS broke even before the game went F2P. Of course, that includes considering the $12-$15 a month for a subscription at that time. It'd take a new person a long time to re-coop their $200 (or $300) at $5 a month if the stipend is the only value you assign and ignore all the other things the LTS gives.
  • Takes anywhere from 1 to infinite lockboxes.
  • No they don't. I've heard plenty of people get permabanned and never got a word as to why.
  • I'd rather have +5 inertia.
  • Is that testing area at Starbase 234 still on Tribble? If so, you could test hangers there w/o them getting shot down.
  • The poor should not be opening lock-boxes. If you'd feel nothing flushing a $20 bill down the toilet, then feel free to open some lockboxes. :D
  • KDF Carrier gets a cloak, Hull Strength: 1.45, Shield Modifier: 1.2 ROM Carrier gets a battle cloak, Hull Strength: 1.4, Shield Modifier: 1.25 JH Carrier gets Wingmen, Hull Strength: 1.25, Shield Modifier: 1.3 Caitian Carrier gets nothing, Hull Strength: 1.4, Shield Modifier: 1.25 So the Caitian Carrier, that gets no…
  • 1 Commander seat & 3 Lieutenant Commander seats I said carriers needed a gimmick to compete with all these 2 hanger cruisers. I guess having all LC/Com bridge officer posts like the T6 Temporal Connie is something. Just not sure its enough? Maybe a Secondary Deflector too? I do like the idea of the fighter squadrons. Makes…
  • I hope it turns better than the T5 version. :/ Now that so many non-carriers have 2 hangers, I wonder if 'true' carriers will get something to make them worthwhile? Supposedly they gave up 2 weapon slots for hangers, now that's just a pointless thing. I'd just slap 2 more hangers on for a simple fix, but got no clue if…
  • The biggest difference to me is Summer has 1 currency while Winter has 6 common and 2 uncommon ones needed to buy things. I'd change Winter to just have one generic 'ornaments' not the plethora of ones we have now taking up space in our inventories. I'm all for simplifying the currencies we have in this game, there are way…
  • It's nice that there are other events to do for the ship, but it's kinda hard to choose one when the timer is broken. How about a static timer saying A at :15, B at :30 etc?
  • If you ignore the value of the added items in the basic bundle; they already offered them for $19.50 each (sale) or $30 (non-sale) in the bundle for promo-ship skins. And account wide to boot! So selling them singly for $35-$40 isn't that big of a stretch, imo.
  • And I'd assume they'll show up as single ships at one point. Probably be their first $35 or $40 per ship C-store ships to ease us in to accepting a 'new normal' price point. Like other game companies I assume their big seller will appear right before a end of quarter profit counting. ;)
  • I'd expect them to use them all. Why would they toss out 3 other designs w/o using them? (well, unless one of them got really low votes. They might skip that one.)
  • So even the devs have given up on making new transphasics. :D
  • Getting a new interior never even enters my mind anymore. :D
  • Lots of EC or luck. I hate to say it but the Legendary Ship pack is a 'decent' purchase if you don't have any(most) of those ships. Yeah its a big chunk of real money, but the Temporal Connie is (was?) over a billion EC. That works out to being ~$400 if you do the $->Master Keys->EC route. And that gets you ONE ship, while…
  • Unless you are running with other people and are generating the most threat, less threat means nothing. But then any 2.5% proc is mostly useless. Go with the weapons that give a base stat increase if you are really trying to eek out that max DPS. But if sqeezing every drop of DPS isn't what you care about, just pick the…
  • I'd add a subscription. I feel that the quantity of content we get has really taken a nosedive when the game went F2P and all they seemed to care about after that is cranking out things to sell.
  • Yeah, they also get times and days of the week wrong too.
  • At least the floater minigame is fast to complete each day. Ship Trait seems good for GW builds, depending how strong it is. Were GW builds weak? Do they need another trait for damage? :D Ship reminds me of the critters in the Conspiracy episode.
