Except there is a reason why they shut down tribble. And that is to roll out initial testing of DR related code. That patch is already live even though they have forgotten to post patch notes. If you are wanting to pre-patch for weekly maintenance you will need to download Red Shirt

relaunched my launcher with a silver account, and lo and behold, tribble isn't in the list. It looks like it has gone gold only for the time being

Not necessarily. All major updates are around 3-6 gigs in their final download state. Legacy was about a 10 gig download (Mostly due to all the new missions and such that were added) so it's not going to be deep down. The bulk of this download was map and art assets across the game (watched the files as they downloaded)

Aside from a handful of screenshots in both installs (nothing more than 20 MB worth per install) both are clean

Watching the files as they download, one can see it's a lot of art assets. Probably early art and map assets for DQ related stuff. Content that will be locked down for now until they are ready for us to test it

False, Cryptic does not do major releases on Thursday's, they do them on Tuesday's. So, now with the key sale on running until Monday, further evidence leads to the new [REDACTED] box + season 9.5 going live on Tuesday the 22nd

FPN, from post 136 on page 14, Blake laid down a challenge on building a sci ship for 2 mil EC, with certain stipulations yeah, everyone knows how hard story content is, yanno, the stuff we use to level characters anyway, but yeah, it soooo hard that you need endgame gear to play them Give me a break

Not everyone reads the blog posts, or at least comprehends them until they see action in game. And this is action. The limit was left off for those of us wishing to burn through rep stuff to get to t5 on tribble to test gear. Now they are implementing the restriction to test it.

Except you splitting hairs. It's never put up to test whatever new content is coming with each revision. Are the maps accessible? Sometimes, I'll give you that. But it doesn't take very long for access to get revoked, just like this time

It was only a slip up that allowed the updated event stuff on the test server this time. Event stuff is -never- put up on Tribble before it hits holodeck. That is why it was pulled pretty damn quick

One of PWE's datacenters is located in Boston, that location is what hosts STO and NW, for the whole world. So if that facility is having issues, the entire world can't get into STO

I really think the LTC engie should be either made universal or changed to a tac seat. Dreadnoughts are supposed to have some teeth to them, and having just a LT or LT + Ens isn't very potent for a Dreadnought

That's just the thing though, it is designed to BE hostile. Because people who AFK aren't being fair to others who are actually trying to -play- a game instead of having others play it for them. Are there false positives? Sure. But I'd rather suck up the false positives than let the afkers continue to be able to mooch off…
