lol I give up, just wanted to see if maybe we could get a little bit less restrictive for a few more options in the game. I suppose I will stick with jamming a 9 in front of every reg. I want. :mad:

Ok sure but does a reg. number really hurt cbs or anyone in anyway? Its not even seen when clicking on a ship, only when looking at hull... plenty of other Star Trek games openly used much lower reg. numbers.

Love this idea, maybe even require you to repair the look of your ship in spacedock? Could we even get a better damage system where you can lose a phaser, torpedo launcher,engines? This could be part of crew being fix and made to do something... repair the offline phaser or torpedo? Only one repair at a time worked on.

Im glad you cant find them, sick of seeing federation officers in them near earth. If the game allowed I would order red alert, power up phasers, and destroy any Jem'Hadar ship to space dust! Really, I dont want to see all these non fed ships anymore!

I like your view on this maybe a solution would be to spread out where people warp in and even make it so non-federation ships cant have U.S.S. in the name, that would make it much more immersive to me at least. You wouldn't see cargo ships with U.S.S. in it. Nor would you see it on a civilian vessel. So maybe cryptic…

My point exactly, ships should be faction specific to me anyways so my idea is make future lock boxes have faction specific ships that are only available from lock boxes. No not really, if you think of it in form of code if you have the option already in use on holodeck on the heavy cruiser and someone already has it as part of their skin and it got changed a error would happen most likely causing a null reference. It's a good ship and is great with so many eng. consoles that with 2 field emitters. increasing shields I can keep shields at 104+ always. So put 6 beams and 2 torps on it, also use Mk XII rare phaser relays in tac. and put the borg console in science with 2 field Generators. Saucer Seperation in eng. with a fleet advanced…

Um it's not all about new content all the time, adding mac support gets new players in game and makes current players happy to not need bootcamp.

Sorry but have you seen the number of apple laptop sales the past few years? There are plenty of macs its just that mac os x and linux operating systems are much tougher to find the holes in the system and it gets patched very quickly. Apple does hire professionals to try to get into there systems and patches there system…

Um do you not realize that mac os x mavericks can support computers that are 7 years old? Supports 2007 macs or newer! Oh and I can run windows 7 no problem to as thats how I currently play STO...

Wine is not a solution to mac support its unstable and slow, I get better graphics settings on windows 7 boot-camped along with no crashes. So a mac version supported and bugs fixed should run great on mac, most of all on Mac OS X 10.9 mavericks with all the performance improvements coming. Anyways help support mac HERE!

Well said, and many times the devs. have said they have looked into ways to help this problem and its just not easy, dealing with afk players is not easy do to the ability to script keystroke commands with out being there, or as one dev. put it "A cat running down there keyboard". So for the most part just help the newbs…

lol you should not even beable to play using Parallels to run STO,does not work I tried it. Only good for quickly setting up duty officer missions. You need bootcamp for now:D
