Ok I am not new to programming but star trek online keybind syntax is crazy
I use this in chat in space...
/bind 9 This is Captain Jiyoz of the Federation Starship Challenger...I am here by taking command of the fleet, target the following cordinance < "&target" > and fire on my command.
...and get this when hitting key 9
Unknown command "This".
Please HELP!
Comments
It doesn't do that. Key binds are for skills, etc...

Oh, and it's not cordinance, it's coordinates.

yeah in sol system, tried with and without quotes
you want this in zone? team? local?
Hope this helps you
Thanks so much did not see it was a $ and not &, my bad
dont forget the part in red, without that it wont know where to say this bind
aka the zone, team or local
Yeah it all worked out and yes set it to team chat, thanks everyone:D
You would probably get this as a reply:
"We are all Admirals here. You aren't getting command of anything...Captain..." :P
It's not 'cordinance'. That isn't even a word.
It's coordinates.
Also, hereby is one word. Not two.

Good and proper help on the binding syntax. Now let's fix that non-word before he uses it in-game and gets some smart-TRIBBLE ignoring his phrase just to ask 'lol what iis cordinance???'.

"Can anyone remember when we used to be explorers...?"
EDIT:
Oh and by "I am here by taking command..." he may be saying that the reason he is there is because he took command of the fleet and not that he is taking command of the fleet there/at that time :P
