I'm pretty sure Cryptic has professional data traffic monitor tools and can watch what's going on. They probably have a SLA with Cogento. All I like to see/notice is a solid solution for this issue. My 5 cents
It's just SERVER CAPACITY, or should I say, the LACK of it during weekends? Server disco's, long map loading times, delay to get all systems/GUI up after map change... Thankgod it's almost Monday again :(
IMHO the lag starts when the US is coming online after school/work/diner. To me it seems like a server capacity problem. It's far from stability during primetime :(
Adding FM's as a part of rewards to PvP queue's will certainly be appreciated by the players who not really give a damn about missions. Someone in this thread mentioned something about FM's needed for T2... bro, you don't even know how much is demanded on higher tiers :eek:
Some players order them for their boff's Some players decide to choose them anyway, for the accolades. IMO when all tiers are done, there should be some kind of hide options available, so everyone can decide what to hide and what not.
Just disable the On-Demand Patching in the Launcher options, next time you're gonna log in you have to download a big patch, but after that you don't have to wait for the annoying repeatable in-game patches anymore. Oh lord, seems that the big USA has literary the biggest unreliable networks. Why doesn't PWE rent some very reliable servers in Amsterdam. Internet infrastructure in Europe... you really can trust the huge networks here :P
Same here, forum/main website barely accessible and Game Launcher can't connect to update address. Tried several dns servers, no joy. Oh well, working as intended I guess :eek:
Yesterday I managed to load the Raveh II System without any tricks. Could finally finish the two story missions in this map. That was after one day. Something's strange is going on for sure.
Just checked my Accolade tab and found this (see picture). It says it's all done, but is still in the Progress overview. How about this? As far as I can remember I think I had all 3 items before S7 (not 100% sure tho)
Nope, haven't seen any 'not responding' message. As soon the game want to load the map, I instantly get a error and the only thing I can see after this message is the log-in screen.

Dear Santa, Please insert a open PvP sector map without too many restrictions, so we can peacefully shoot the hell out each other. Add some Starbases in it (to get repairs, to defend, etc) and voila: a real MMO pvp section added :rolleyes:
