Active ship-shuttle bug

So I have this weird bug since the implementation of the new ship-shuttle selection. I have a wells class that is set as current, but when I examine my captain the delta flyer is written as the main ship


also every time I try to fix stf damages on the ship the shuttle is the first to pop up. I tried to change the current ship / current shuttle a few times with no success, and change from shuttle to other shuttle and from one ship to another and it's still the way it was before :confused:

    I've noticed the exact same thing. The shuttle always comes up as the default ship regardless which ship is currently being used. As you noted, this is particularly annoying and a waste of time during damage fixes in an Elite space STF.

    Indeed. I've also recently noticed the game using the shuttle weaponry for comparisons when hovering over a weapon in inventory rather than the starship guns. I'd guess this is related to the whole 'wrong ship is primary thing'

    Delete the shuttle, so you have the star ship only in the UI. You can reclaim the shuttle.
    P2W is Pay to Play for me, what else? Duh! :D

    Even after the recent patch to fix this, I'm still seeing 2 characters on the character select screen showing they have their shuttles active when they don't. In game my character info window I access by right clicking my health bar is still showing I'm in a shuttle when I am not. :(

    Edit: AS per brikyard's suggestion, I'm not repurchasing a shuttle with energy credits on my KDF character to fix this because I just don't have it. Sure it isn't much but doing the rep system on 4 characters buying commodites and friggen hypos and such, I'm flat broke right now. I'm not seeing an income increase soon unless I either stop working on my reputations or just wait until the winter event is over and I can get back to doing what I was doing like STFs and such. Currently working on doing the featured series episodes for the free Lobi Crystals and other rewards I either want or need. (My Fed toons I can get away with it since they all have the Yellowstone Runabout from the C-store and I can reclaim it for free.)

    This has been happening to me for over over a week already. It makes looking for upgrades for my cruiser hard because all the tooltips compare to my shuttle, not my cruiser.

    Please fix Cryptic!

    Visit the bridge of the shuttle, go to select ship. On the left down the bottom you will see select active ship. Click on starship...... Done...

    I tried this but I am still experiencing this main ship bug. Any other suggestions?:confused:

    Have you tried to dismiss and reclaim the shuttle? (that solved the problem for me)
    C-Store ships/shuttles can be reclaimed without cost, the EC cost of standard shuttles should be negligible/tolerable, but beware: don't dismiss shuttles (and ships) from the Lobi store since they cannot be reclaimed as far as I know.
