While I am no fan of the JJverse, this is going to make for intriguing gameplay. I wonder how long it will take for the JJverse Enterprise to be available for sale.
Unless they fix this glaring problem, I'll be steering clear of this game, because I mainly play it with an Xbox controller, and for them to TRIBBLE up the set up for the controller is beyond messed up.
And that right there is why I have reservations regarding this idea. Don't get me wrong. I like being in a fleet. However, other than for donating marks, I hardly rely on them during my daily gameplay.
The solution to this is simple. Avoid fleets altogether. Much like guilds in other games, fleets have their own share of drama that could be detrimental to gameplay.
I have characters on both the Fed and Klingon sides. It is the the Feds who are more dependent on exploration missions since the Klingons at least have those nebulas in their home sector in which to fight the various races for dilthium. By taking the exploration missions out, Cryptic may as well be telling me to go Klingon.
So they decide to remove the star cluster missions from the game? This is so stupid. Removing content is never a good idea. So unless the next expansion delivers something good that replaces them, I can foresee a lot of people leaving this game, and that is not good. As for me, looks like my sole source of dilithium will…
If New Romulus is having so many problems right now, remind me to steer clear of the planet until further notice, at least on my Fed and Klingon characters.
I think that last set of patches royally screwed the game up. Everything from the launcher to certain missions such as Surface Tension are seeing major problems. I had no choice but to uninstall the game until I can be sure these problems can be fixed. It's a shame, really, because I like this game a lot.
As far as these anniversary ships go, only my Romulan characters will be getting them. My Klingons are gunning for the Bortasqu' and my Feds already have the Odyssey, the Vesta and the Ambassador.
