Ok so I was logging in on a short cut and that wasn't working at all. Then I installed the Arc client and I was able to get sign in.

Ok I just went into game to look at the ship. I saw the variants on top from the pull down menu and the Gladius was not there.

Ok found it. I don't know how it got there but I found it in my bank. That was really strange.

I logged out completely, logged back in, did a patrol, and still nothing. The ship has shown in the event store but it won't let me get it because I have one out right now, which I don't. I will go back in game to check my inventory again. Oh and just like you the game was really lagging out hard for me when that happened.

I have all my reputations maxed out. I have been at that point for a long time now. It feels like their is nothing really to do aside from endeavors which really feels bleh to me. I'm using the Iconian Set. I have since day one. I love swarm mode and use it often. If memory serves me correctly it also enhances speed and turning but it gives a minus 15 percent to your hull. To be honest I like swarm mode so much I don't typically bother with dark mode past my opening shot.

I've been flying this ship specifically and I'm intimately familiar with it. It's definitely slower. My ships equipment and traits have not magically changed since the patch. I've noticed this especially when fighting Vaaduar. I used to be able to outrun them when they would launch those mines of theirs. I could just fly…

It's speed is reduced and it turns slower. 3K may be nothing to you but when you can't afford it, it's money out the window in this case.

I'll just say this. A "ship you've been waiting for" isn't one that I have to gamble to get by throwing money over and over and over again at keys to "hope" I get the ship.

Is there a way to reduce the 2 minute cooldown on those space skills? It's a bit crazy how long they are in a fight.

Explain to me how Tactics is good, because clearly I am doing something wrong. That wasn't me being smart mouthed, that was a genuine request for help. Just wanted to be clear because I know how text without a voice to go with it can be misinterpreted.

You mentioned Tac survivability, are you talking ground? I absolutely love my Engi. He does a ridiculous amount of damage on ground and space and he's got a ton of defenses. I never have a problem in space on that character and I never kick the bucket. The defenses on the engi are just too good.

Nevermind, fixed it. I rebooted and then it worked. Not sure what was wrong but it seems to be working fine now.

I got it finally, thank you to everyone that offered help. I saw I had to do a Romulan TF before Quinn would give me The Galaxy at a Glance. Once I did the TF, he gave me that mission, then completing it, logging out, logging back in, I was then offered the quest chain. Again thank you all very much. I appreciate the help.

I have done everything that I can think of and finished everything and still no luck with getting this mission. It's very frustrating.

This is a new character so it has nothing to do with any kind of intermediate patch or changes. I skipped all the TFO's. I'm wondering right now if it's because I haven't done the Devidian arc from Franklin Drake on this character. I am doing it right now to see.

Alright, then why don't I see it? I finally got Franklin Drake to offer missions on the Available tab by doing Spectres as was suggested. Unfortunately he still isn't giving me the Wastelands arc.

Of course I am 65. I am going to try the Spectres idea later and see what happens afterwards.

The only thing that is not a TF that Quinn offers me is Lost Dominion and Spectres.

I have spoken to Quinn in person already for a turn in on another mission and didn't notice anything as such, but I'll go back and check.

I have not done that yet. I also did not get a "The Galaxy at Large" mission from him either.

I am TOS Fed. I've done everything but the New Romulan and Dison Sphere stuff, mainly because they are so monotonous.

I did and he wouldn't give me the mission. Horace Jones is the NPC just inside the city on the right hand side yes?
