According to the STO wiki I read there should be a set of new ships in the spring of 2014, unless that information is now false and/or out-dated. That would be my guess as well.

Hmm...Ya. Mostly correct. Everything ran smoothly so I'm not sure what to believe or think. I was able to move around and do things properly.
