I noticed that the "Combed Back" look in females is perfectly just that...combed back. Whereas the "Combed Back" look for males looks like they have bed-head; it's nothing like what the female look is like.
I request they make the hair look for males as they do for females.
Another option for those of us who couldn't or didn't want to buy multiple pre-order copies of the game, how about offering the TOS and TOS movie costume options in the C-store? Though I loath this new trend in online gaming, if I have to pay a couple of bucks to have these options, I could choke it down.
As far as other suggestions, how about a third leg? We have undine constructs for a movement template and TOS animated series for canon. With that, the ability to have a tail - feline, lizard, et al.
[A lot of these requests could be fulfilled by "copying and pasting" from the CoH/CoV {also cryptic} character customization selections, i.e. hair styles, skirts, tails, etc.]
All I want is access to the other uniform options that the Devs already made (i.e. TNG, TOS, movie uniforms, etc). I'd be even willing to spend a few Crypic points for them...
dr crusher medical overcoat, and picard starfleet jacket, torres engineering overcoat, cardassian hairstyles, vulcan robes
this.
hard to find really good pictures of it, but from what i know there's two variations of the jacket. the one with the leather padding on the top from the TNG "darmok" episode (seen above) is in my opinion the better of the two. i think it would fit well in STO's environment.
i would just like to second the original post on the tail option. I want to try creating the cat thing from star trek 5. needs some unique options for aliens overall. the only skin option so far is humanoid and it seems pointless if they have the category, when it does nothing.
If we're going for alternate uniforms, I would love to have these uniforms. Here's the guy, and girloption...
Those are nice...
After going through the thread, here's my ideas and seconds.

The Civilian Action Clothes you saw picard in for that Running around with a crossbow episode.
There should be no sexist discrimination against female mirror universe uniforms, or ANY sexist discrimination against women being able to wear something the least bit revealing when you have enemy Orion NPC's all Scantily Clad. It's okay to play morally ambiguous missions where you knowingly murder the entire crew of a hospital station and shoot scantily clad green women, but we mustn't dress in a revealing but millitary manner accepted by the canon?
Star Trek is a family show. If they can wear it on the show, then we should be able to wear it in the game without some fundie's heart exploding. (No great loss.) They wore the Mirror Universe uniform on television. In the 1960's. Nearly 50 years ago. And it's considered too racy for STO? This is shameful, craven and patronizing behaviour on the part of Cryptic.
Think heeled boots would be a nice addition, as well as maybe some more variatys of long hair for the ladies. Also a few more skirt options would be welcome, and maybe more styles of trousers as well.
I keep reading all these posts about new uniform options. I'd like to use the things they already have. I have not been able to change uniforms at all in game. I'm wearing it on my character selection screen, but it won't change in the game. Same with my BO's. I've sent in multiple bug reports. I'm a lifer in both the game and, as it happens, my original uniform. I'm beyond frustrated.
- Vorta hair male & female that doesn't cut into the ears!
- allow more colors for eyes (like, well, really bright blue/purple for Vorta, or deep glowing red, and yes, I admit, I wanna make Narn from B5)
I would like to see the Slicked Back 01 hairstyle for females. We only have 02, while we can see what is probably 01 on characters such as Ensign Byarnez.
I'd also enjoy seeing a wider variety of longer hairstyles.
Finally, those PC Gamer magazine covers that showed uniforms zipped down to offer a plunging neckline... I want those too! XD
be it a ball cap or a cap like my avatars for the fed side
and possibility of a wide brimmed fur lined hat for my klingon and his ship full of orion BOffs

Then you could make a toon named Heirs Sulu
You don't see too many canon races with them.
