This is supposed to be the quiet time for the servers but it seems either the hardware isn't enough to handle the amount of people in the system or the software is still very bugged a couple of days from head start.
i dont mind them fixing stuff but LET US KNOW SO WE DONT START A LONG MISSION!!!!
Id imagine this one.. like the last one, wasn't something they planned on. Server just skinned its knee. Right now they are surely looking around the office at each other thinking, who brought the band-aids.
As frustrating as it is, I'd rather this happen now than after release. But, a warning if it's expected would be nice. It might have been unexpected though?
Ugh. No notice. Right in the middle of an instance...
I got lucky, I had just finished an instance. However, there is no guarantee the server recorded that fact at all. Last time I was on during a crash I had finished some "Patrol Sector..." missions. When I came back the system said I was at 2/3 and I am still at 2/3 after finishing 5 more rounds. I finally gave up and reported the bug. Turns out several others have seen this today as well.
Fortunately this is Beta and losing time with broken missions won't mean much. In a week, it'll be a bit more annoying, although expected given that this is an MMO and these things go on for the first month (or so) in every MMO.

Is it just me, or do we seem to be going backwards in progress with the server stability ???
No it is not only you. It has been much more stable. Which I think might be either the amount of players bringing the server down (3AM PST), or memory leakage or some other software problem.

It's Maintenance. The homepage status.... It was maintenance 6 hours with a patch and it maintenance again.
