They'll probably be part of the new lockbox, at least that's my guess.
As far as I know, it has never happened that an unique ship was released through a lockbox with a new weapon type without said weapon type becoming part of a lockbox. The only exception I can think of, is that Risa event ship that has the flame ability. But that's not a lockbox ship, so anyway.
Atherian Proton Beam Arrays and Hypermass Torpedo launchers. My question is... can we get upgradable versions of these weapons?
Thanks for the info.
It means they are / have been working on proton beams. I just got Protonic Polaron ones for my newest toon, but at least I know now that I should wait a bit with getting tactical consoles for another one, whose build I was reconsidering.
I just hope that this doesn't mean that proton will lose its status as exotic damage. I like the idea of more proton weapons, though.
The only exception I can think of, is that Risa event ship that has the flame ability.
The weapons on that ship were fully upgradeable, which was a nice change. No need to go scrounging into lockboxes for them.
The 'flame' is fire-based damage which is boosted by very few consoles in the game - the four most obvious ones being those that came from the Fek'lhri ships.

It has happened a few times with torpedoes but I don't think ever energy weapons
There are no options for herald torpedoes and the only voth torpedo is a wide angle that I believe is no longer obtainable till if/when they release a t6 version of the bulwark
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
It happened with the Janeway. The ship was released on March 4th 2021 and the upgradable 32nd century phaser weapons were released in the May 25th 2021 lockbox.

True, it wouldn't be the first time one was released later than the other.
But eventually all ship-specific lockbox weapons are released to those who don't own the ship. Which is encouraging.
The only true exception are some torpedoes indeed (which should be corrected at some point, imo).

As someone who enjoys torpedoes I'm still waiting for them to hopefully add the voth and herald torpedoes one day...even if they add them as lobi store weapons it's still better than nothing

I was kind of surprised that the Herald one wasn't included with the recent event. Though I guess it's also fair to those owning these expensive ships, that the weapon wasn't made available to all for free.
I guess the Lobi store could be a reasonable alternative for an upgraded version of the torps.

Voth wide-arc torps are upgradeable now. I think they did the same time they added omni and wide-arc cannons to the Voth lockbox weapon boxes. I don't have the Herald to check and the newer wiki is down ATM, so not sure on those.
It seems the ship has completely flopped from the zero gameplay videos of it guess the name i picked out seems quite appropriate. Yakitori S.O.M (Ship of misfortune) 🤣

Having zero (are you sure about that?) gameplay videos does not prove that the ship has completely flopped. Only Cryptic has that data if a ship has been a success, so-so, or a complete flop. One needs to refrain from making such a statement. With that said, it being an Infinity Lockbox shop does affect if people will go for it or not since it is not in the C-Store.

Its also a relatively new ship. Odds are there aren't as many out in the wild yet.
The ship didn't really appeal to me. I've got too many anyway and I'm not that interested anymore in non-Federation aliens.
It doesn't help that we don't know all that much about the Aetherians and that there's little other gear available. That makes it hard to do a theme-specific build, since you don't really know the theme. With things like Borg, Xindi or Voth ships there's a lot more to work with.

I am the opposite, I like the googie aesthetics of the TOS Constitution class with its Euler spiral and golden-ratio based angles and proportions, but the dull art deco industrial style of almost all of the Federation ships from the movie era onward just do not appeal much to me for the most part.
Most of the Fed ships I have I get for reasons other than their looks (there are a few rare exceptions to that where the designer (probably inadvertently) did something that resulted in an actually fresh look), either I got them for free from a code or event or whatever or they fit the theme of the character I bought them for, or (rarely) they had a console or trait or whatever that I could use on some other ships that fit some of the themes.
That said, so far the Revelation class isn't really striking a chord with me either, so while I don't have any problems as such with its aesthetics it isn't very close to the top of my wish list either.

I don't know what it is, but to me the ship looks mostly just like a fancier (due to the moving parts) Tzenkethi ship.
Or maybe it's just that, after the future DIS-ships and the Herald stuff, it's becoming harder to feel impressed by any alien/futuristic design. Even if they have moving parts, combined with an unconventional shape.

I know, but my point there is it's the only voth torpedo that is and currently is unobtainable now till if/when they add a T6 version of the Bulwark into game. I think it was when they revamped the phoenix store they got rid of the T5 version as a option and all other T5 ships
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
When they removed the T5s from the phoenix store they should have made the Voth torpedo and some of the other set items from those ships available as bare items in the store like they did with the Bajor core, Bosman impulse, and a few other set pieces from other no-longer available ships.

I did not agree with them removing those T5 ships from the Phoenix Store especially when there were no T6s for most of them, period. For awhile I was trying to get the Epic token to get those ships I never got and was never successful.
I agree with you that the Wide Angle Voth Torpedo Launcher and the other set items from those ships should have/be available as items in the stores like they did the Bajor Warp Core, the Bozeman Impulse Engine, and a few other set pieces from other no-longer available ships.

Oops. Kinda forgot it was limited to coming with the Voth Bulwark and only it.
Well they did say that eventually each ship is supposed to get the T6 treatment. And after the Star Cruiser and the Dyson's got their upgrades, there aren't that many left that still need it, so...
It's a bit off-topic, but one other thing I would like to see is more Voth and Xindi designs.
These lockboxes are pretty old, the Voth one was one of the last T5s IIRC, one of the Xindi ones was the very last one and the other one was the first to include T6s. I would welcome some new ship classes for these and other alien species, something more than just upgrading what few original designs we have.
Surely the Federation can't be the only power that updates and diversifies/expands its entire fleet with a dozen new types every year?
The Voth don't have an escort (or a troop transport, despite them heavily using ground troops and commando's), the Xindi lack a true science ship and playable shuttles (or just make the hangar pets playable T6 ships, even better).
And maybe more Herald designs? The Ilaidon dreadnought isn't playable yet, despite not being that much bigger than the Vonph - or other designs, like the Universe or the one-eyed ship that I forgot the name of. And the Heralds could also use a science ship.
I've stated before that I'm not buying many more ships, but that might change if they did some expansions of previous themed lockboxes. I've got a dedicated Xindi and multiple Voth toons, some of which have access to all their ships. I'd be interested in buying more, if they come up with some good designs.
Well they did say that eventually each ship is supposed to get the T6 treatment. And after the Star Cruiser and the Dyson's got their upgrades, there aren't that many left that still need it, so...
Soon, I guess?
Well, at least two of the Dyson's got their upgrades anyway. Unfortunately, the Rallus is not a proper Romulan ship at all, it is built like a Klingon ship with a Romulan skin over it, which is a shame since the specializations themselves are perfect for a Romulan ship, but it cannot take a Romulan style build since it is missing the singularity abilities.
I actually managed to set some cash aside when I heard the Dysons were going to be coming out, but I am not going to buy the Rallus, nor am I interested in the other two at all, so I will probably just depend on the event campaign for ships this year.

I still haven't heard back if that was intentional or not. Things must have gotten busy.
