I hope they'll finally add the stuff from the last lockboxes to the infinity one soon. It's a bit pointless that you get mark packages and so on when opening Infinity boxes if you cannot select the traits from recent ones.
Certainly won't be top pick for the campaign promo ship even if the trait is killer.
There's always a one lockbox gap on stuff in the Infinity Box. They never have stuff from the most recent box added in until the NEXT box or so.
Is it really all that killer ? How many high end DPS sci builds are going to use more then 2 or 3 of those skill at most. So it gives you 105 EPG ? That is hardly worth a ship trait slot imo. If they really wanted this to sell it would impart a Cat 2 Exotic boost or something... like Improved photonic officer. This is super meh. (which I'm fine with cause no one wants this ugly ship... at least the mars has a killer battle cloaking Pilot/Intel escort setup)
We're already multiple releases behind.
> They knew from the beginning this ship wouldn't sell so they put a killer science starship trait with it... What a joke...
As someone who plays sci dps 90% of the time, I would not call that trait killer. It is good, but it is enought to get me to buy the ship.
It is for my drain build and epg builds can use it as well depending on the ship and setup. You can take crit consoles instead of epg or the other way around. But for a drain build there is way to little good star ship traits and most of them are behind lobi or lockbox ships.
Also it was more a reference to my hate for the ship design like you get a TRIBBLE ship but a good or great trait it really depends how you use it. If I pull one out of the box I would use it just to try it out but I wouldn't buy or invest cash money for that. The only good thing about this ship in my opinion is the starship trait the rest is pretty much forgettable. And yeah I know we don't need that trait because we got already endless science related and crit related starship traits.
Maybe I should have not used the word Killer trait but it is a very good science trait depending on your build could possible save you 2 epg/crtx consoles ect...
Well this is also a lockbox ship... so.
I hear ya... they often put decent traits on meh ships. But this is both a meh ship and a meh trait.
I agree most of the traits aimed at draining skills are pretty so so. I mean there are a few decent zen store things like Charged particle reaction. And you can always grab things like by the book if you fly a temporal ship to get more out of Tykens I guess. But most traits that boost drains or drain skills seem to be more heal related... use X get a heal. Which are pretty pointless.
I don't know I guess I haven't really thought of a drain build as anything as a way to proc EPG buffed Secondary deflector procs for a long time. So the idea of buffing drain never really crosses my mind.

An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch."
"We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
All those in favor of this change please raise their hands..
I like my ships to make a bit of sense design wise. How are those pylons/nacelles staying put? Will of the crew? Space God from Star Trek V?

The 23rd century ships made sense to include into this game but the ones from the 32nd?? That's totally idiotic and most of them don't look that good.
Also who in their right mind is paying for lock boxes during this economical crisis and inflation rising sky high?
It's another Rademaker design, isn't it?
