Extra note: Uniform mentioned will be unique to the bundle. Ground Barbie peeps be warned.

Kael just dropped on the stream: Non-Legendary, and all but the Lockbox ship available will be available separately as standard C-Store. New consoles and traits for them (but none of the old included, unlike Lego.) Bundle price and final ships to be announced Sunday.

Cool. So it's the Terran Empire Expansion pack, and not the typical legendary ship bundle. The only question now is how many of these ships will be fleet-level, because if they're not fleet-level by default, they'll probably be like the Mirror Guardian -- no direct fleet-level variant.

I think Mirror Guardian is a special case, and if these aren't Fleet-grade already (wasn't answered when it came up in chat, likely due to Kael enjoying a cutscene in a mission at the time,) I would expect them to be added to the Fleet stores. I can't think of any big bundle exceptions that had more than a delay when it came to non-Fleet-grade to going to the Fleet stores (Delta was delayed to be made Fleet, but those came eventually).

Ships are going to be available separately from the bundle, except for the Mirror Engle, according to latest TFW (Ten Forward Weekly).

Well, i'll get the bundle then... i like the fact they will sell them apart, i hope more people buy it, they finally are selling a pack by ship, so, that is commendable..

I'll get the bundle if it doesn't include a pile of junk to increase the price. Otherwise, I'll just get the mirror Yorktown, I've plenty of T6 coupons lying around.

No way I'm paying for the full bundle.

    So pick'n'mix it is.

I just paid £75 for the Legendary Warbird pack 5 days before the Zen sale (you're welcome) on console. While by no means a buyers remorse situation, I'm certainly not dropping over 120 on this bundle in a few weeks time.

Or I could use a coupon if one is forthcoming.

The ships in the bundle aren't Legendary, and Non-Legendary standard C-Store ships have never been exclusive to any bundle (the 9th Anniversary bundle included the Gagarin, for example). So this is just business as usual rather than any kind of feedback related change.

Usually new ships are not purchasable with the T6 Free Ship Coupons. There was an exception, but I wouldn't expect the T6 Coupons to be usable on any of these ships. At least not for at least 6 months.

I believe there are two versions of the coupon, purchased coupons that can be traded and free coupons that are account bound. I'm pretty sure purchased coupons have no restrictions, but free coupons cannot be used on ships classified as "New" in the C-Store (the one exception I know of being the Titan, which they seemingly forgot to set as "New").

Yes, there are two versions, the 100% off they give away in the aniversary does not have any restriction.

That makes sense. If they're not legendary ships, they're just regular, new T6 ships.

No need to include the traits of other ships then. I hope that's also reflected in the price though.

Who knows? Maybe they can be used.

In the end it doesn't really matter. If players use their free tokens on one of the new ships, they cannot use it on another one they might otherwise have bought with it.

It doesn't really cost Cryptic any more money if they decide to make the new ships purchasable with a coupon immediately.

As I already have the regular versions of most of these ships, I'm probably not buying them. Not even the Mirror Engle. I looked up its trait after people mentioned it, but as I already have more traits than I can use, I won't be buying a ship just for its trait.

I would think they would have to be Fleet Grade. It makes no sense that Prime Universe Fleets would be creating and selling Mirror Ships.

It worked fine for my Appalachia, which is one of the newest ships in the store.

I hope so! I haven't spent my token yet so I would gladly use it on the Mirror Intrepid. It just wouldn't sur4prise me if those tokens would not be usable for these new ships. The ability to buy some of the ships from the bundle separately is definitely a good thing though and personally, I think is a step in the right direction. Regardless whether or not I can use my T6 Ship Coupon for the Mirror Intrepid, I am going to get it anyway.

If you still have the token from the anniversary that is in a box, that one has no restrictions, you should be able to buy the ship you want, i use it to get the T6 nova, so i know it works.

There are two different kinds of 100% coupons, though there's no *visible* difference, but the two different kinds won't stack.

The two I have do have one minor difference, the description for one says it can be traded but cannot be listed on the exchange, while the description on the other says it cannot be traded or listed on the exchange. I'm assuming the one that can be traded is the unrestricted type while the account bound one is not, but I already own all of the newest ships so I can't verify that.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me Cryptic has thrown out the long standing but never officially acknowledged rule that regular C-store ships are rarely full spec, and never multi spec.

Correct. Or rather for those C-Store ships that they are not offering a Fleet Variant, the C-Store version comes out of the box at Fleet quality. For example the Appalachia has 2 different spec seats. What we had not seen until these is a C-store ship that is Full Spec with a second type spec seat. For example the Appalachia is a Lt Cmdr Command and a Lt Intel. Not a full Commander Spec seat. Whereas the new Trailblaze has a Commander Command Seat and a Lt Miracle Worker. So it gets the full Command Spec abilities.
