Extremely poor value at this price and with the current contents, not a patch on the original bundle. For a new player, which this seems to be trying to entice, the likes of the Vanguard bundle represents far better value. I have plenty of T6 coupons, and do not want or need any of the other 'fluff'. Finally, the lack of the D7 (most likely being saved for yet another overpriced single ship plus fluff bundle) and other Klingon ships represents a very poor choice for the so-called Year of Klingon.
Halve the price, drop the fluff = better value = would likely purchase x 5 (its an Autism/OCD thing) = possible $500 in sales versus $0 as things stand.
Cryptic should have followed how the previous Legendary bundle was set up. A cheaper price for just the legendary ships and the full cost for the premium bundle. If that is how it was set up, then this year's premium bundle would have been far better than last year's premium bundle with the Holo-Worf Bridge Officer and Monk Robes.
> @lianthelia said: > The Brel should be 5/1: It's totally inferior to the Temer
of all the reasons, this is probably not a good one. That ship is absolute beast for pvp, it has all the dream seats for escort pvper, 4/2 is acceptable because high speed engagements favor beam arrays over fore weaps

In a game where maybe 2-4% of the player population cares about PvP, it's a good reason.
Another reason why i don't buy the bundle. Here is yet another copy and paste Boff without Space Trait....
Cryptic should've utilized 1 or 2 of those Worf traits or abilities from that "Sphere of Influence" mission I think is is, the one where we pilot the Obelisk ship at the end.
Too much copy & paste bare minimum instead of creativity & innovation.
No ships-only-version like last year (at least so far unannounced), also SAME price for less "exclusive" content.
On top of that, other than the Excelsior, none of the ships are considerably better than what's already available in the T6-range.
I also wish that this bundle would have more actual klingon ships, rather than even more Starfleet mixed in. The Ambassador for example has no business being in there.
The Vorcha already has the same mastery-trait, and other than the Ent-C's alleged huge sacrifice the ship didn't really do much on screen.
> @seaofsorrows said: > In a game where maybe 2-4% of the player population cares about PvP, it's a good reason.
pve powercreep is meaningless, but ye whoever designed this ship must have had pvp in mind, given that the other ships look repulsing and unattractive, i wouldnt be surprised if their starship traits/consoles (i havent seen them) are some hidden pvp gems that give some champ the edge he needs in order to pwn the ker rat.
Other:
Simple: I am more interested other acquisitions: like the Legendary T'Liss... i wonder if the other ZStore Legendaries go on sale when the KDF Pack is released
The Ships being offered do not include a ship that I want
Let's take a look on the ships one by one
- B'Rel: Usally i don't fly raiders.... so don't want this
- Ambassador: I bought the Support Cruiser Bundle when it came out and I'm absolute happy with my Fleet T6x Ambass. With it's full TimeAgent Spec it's a better ship than the Legendary one, imho
- Vor'Cha: Leg. One has a 5/3 Layout but it'S still not enough to switch from my Fleet T6X to this one.
- Excelsior: The only ship from this bundle i would buy, if i can get it separate, like the Mirror Dreadnought.
I wish I could select multiple options. These packs are WAY expensive anymore, and completely unreasonable for cost. Second, with the sheer amount of ships that are currently available, short of some gimmick console, there really isn't much of a difference between them, and often times the gimmicks really aren't worth even using. After that, it's just like any other ship out there to start death by FAW for example. Its the same but with a different skin.

I don't mind paying good money for stuff I like to have.
And that is where the prolems of this pack start... The ships are bad. They are bad because they would not only NOT help me progress any of my 13 end game charaters further, they would mean a direct downgrade compared to what I already got for them. Even if I pursue some thematic phatasy for any of my chars (which I often do) I always look at stats and build options when getting them a craft. No chance here.
What the other stuff is concerned Im glad they left out any high end or must have performance items cryptic has the habbit of getting me with on other occasions.
For that matter, big thank you! Easy call here.

The Ships being offered do not include a ship that I want
None of those ships interest me... I dislike change (I hate setting up a ship for the first time), and based on my playstyle, i'm quite picky on what ship(s) I drive into battle.. With the 2 biggest boxes a ship has to check off is having a 5/3 weapon layout and to have/be able to use Weapon System Efficiency... Plus also atm my KDF Main character is quite content driving his Na'Qjej Intel Battlecruiser, the I.K.S. Butter-Cutter..
Hahaha! And now they throw just about every sale possible (Lobi, Zen charge, AND ship sale) at the playerbase in their desperation to convince us to buy their Bundle'O fluff.
That's not desperation, it's planned - so that people who are on the fence can start to rationalize the purchase.
I'm a KDF aligned only player, so no interest in flying Fed ships. I only like flying fast ships, so that only leaves the Legendary B'rel which may be a very slightly improved version of one of my favorite ships the Na'kuhl Raider. No interest in any of the fluff. Even if I wanted all four ships it's too expensive, and I only somewhat want one of the ships. Oh and making part of the pack things most of us already have by just playing the game and participating in events is just insulting.
Severely overpriced, as are all of the ships, let alone the 'bundles'.
At that price, pretty much everything would have to be account unlocks for me to even consider it. I've also never been a fan of locking exclusives into highly overpriced bundles. Worf alone would be a fairly hot seller in the store, once they added space traits. As it it now, it's very lackluster with all ground traits.
I like the game, but TBH, as the years have passed, they've gotten more and more greedy with their micros. I blame PWE for that. Even with the discount on Zen and the piddling discount on the bundle, it's just not enough value for the money, and I have a hard time rewarding blatant cash grabs.

What "dream" seating...pretty much every raider has identical seating...everything except maybe the cmdr slot is uni. The Temer has the same seating and also has a extra uni ensign
Besides...do you think the people who fork out who knows how much money/billions of ec to buy ships and traits to be as op as they can are going to use a c-store raider? No, they're gonna use a La Sirena which has a cmdr tac/pilot, cmdr uni, lt cmdr uni, and a lt uni. It also comes with a experimental weapon designed to disable your target...knock out their engines for a couple seconds and they're likely dust
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power

Well, jokes on them. I for one still have some of the Lobi from the latest campaign so I'll be outfitting my Temer with two pieces of the Altamid set for the price of one.
They won't see a single dime from me for this poor excuse of a bundle.

Just saw my first 'bundle' excelsior. I don't exactly know what to say. To be honest, my reaction was revulsion: disgust that someone would buy this pack, and anger at Cryptic's decision to milk the community in this manner. I know, of course, that there are shills that will fork out anything for "exclusivity," and that Cryptic is targeting these people. But I am simultaneously enraged that the answer to a lackluster ship like the C-store Excelsior is to lock the "fix" behind a putrid paywall such as this, rather than wasting even a moment of development time in altering the original - despite the fact that they still continue to ask money for the massively inferior product many of us own.
I've spent well over $1,000 on this game. But I'm angry enough to close my wallet moving forward. If anyone of any authority in this company is watching, know this: your lacking ethics and business practices sicken me.

Yeah I saw one at ESD. My reaction was the same...just kinda disgusted. I don't want this pack to succeed because that just means more bloatware packs like this in the future.

I'd have to confess that I felt a great deal of disappointment when I spotted one. Silly really, as it was inevitable, but I'm struggling to not think that the success of this FluffBundle will result in more 'bundles of ships Cryptic decide we want + fluff' in favour of ships we've been requesting (and they've been ignoring) for a very long time.
All the more reason to cease spending entirely. We're treated like fools - like trash. For almost three weeks they ignored the primary criticism about the pack (that it was loathsome behavior to mark up the "value" of a legendary ship 250% in a time of almost unprecedented crisis for the western working man), while padding it with a few additional, mostly-meaningless niceties. When we talk, the only respondent is Kael. And however measured his interactions with us may be, one thing enough is clear: he isn't making any decisions. And the people who do write that policy? Well, they're too important to speak with nobodies like us. So rather than have them misinterpret the meaning behind my purchases moving forward, I simply won't make any at all.
