Still waiting for a 5 in front and/or "Improved Raider Flanking" Legendary B'Rel. The free event ship has the current offering beat hands down, and while I want to give you my money, I need a better reason.
Or make it 6 fore and 1 aft for a complete bawls to the wall approach of the glass canon!
The new B'Rel and Ambassador traits look interesting, but I'm not overly enthused by this bundle — I was rather hoping for a Legendary Bortasqu' and Sarcophagus for the Year of the Klingon
That said: while it's nice that the B'Rel trait, Deadly Appearances, remembers EBC exists (so many cloak traits are ‘after cloaking/decloaking’ or ‘during ambush’, so don't synergise well with EBC), do we have any word on whether it will apply to the Scimitar's ‘Cloaked Barrage’ console too? (I'm not expecting it to be intended for Quantum Singularity Manipulation though)
yay they've tweeked a couple of things on the ships... however that is not by far the problem at all. The issue is the fluff in the ship pack and the lack of value for 250 dollars... which this pack is no where near providing.
I apologize if this comes across as negative that isn't my intent. My frustration with this and continues to be that we've been providing feedback on Twitter, Reddit and these forums and they've stubbornly clung to making these tiny adjustments to try and placate everyone instead of owning the fact that this Legendary Pack feels like a Legendary Rip Off...

Plus UNLIKE last year; they aren't offering the same type of choice. Last year you had TWO Bundles - one with JUST the 10 ships (for a lower price); and a second higher priced version with the 10 ships AND a bunch of add-on TRIBBLE.
This year we just get one (IMO) outrageously priced bundle with a bunch of add-on TRIBBLE that I daresay most don't find to be worth it.
Where's the "just the 4 ships" option for this 11th Anniversary Bundle?

Since it includes KDF ships, we're not special enough for that act of thoughfulness. Besides, they are probably afraid that the ships won't sell that much on their own. It's all or nothing!

I honestly wonder if there is anyone that looks at the 4 ships on offer and is like "I would like to buy these ships, but at this price I dunno." And then they see all the extra fluff and are like "Sold!"
The new B'Rel and Ambassador traits look interesting, but I'm not overly enthused by this bundle — I was rather hoping for a Legendary Bortasqu' and Sarcophagus for the Year of the Klingon
Aye...Legendary Bortasqu given much of the treatment the Oddy got in the last pack would be wonderful and should be easy I'd think to implement....easier I guess. Throw us a bone. We want to give you our money...give us a reason to
im surprised as the horatio going intel - but yyeah, we already have a temporal variant, so its good i guess. but it makes me like it less.
overall the pack is overpriced - it has to few "core content" the brel isnt exactly new, the excelsior isnt, the vorcha isnt, and the only decent new thing is the horatio - so even if its 4 ships, its still 6 less than the first leg pack ... and all the clitter clutter is just for making it somehow reach a certain treshhold of pricing.
if they made it a 4 ship bundle - and give it 4 experimental upgrades, so you can upgrade all ships, and make the price half of what it is now, it would have sold like "warme semmeln" as we call it in germany ;-)
but same price for less than half the ships AND having really unoriginal ships and layouts ... meh - they dont even come with new consoles - they got those of the other variants (vorcha gets the 2 consoles already in the game)
im surprised as the horatio going intel - but yyeah, we already have a temporal variant, so its good i guess. but it makes me like it less. I was sort of opposite, still not buying the bundle, with the Intel versus Temp change just because it was before too similar to the fleet variant where now it's more distinctive, but I understand each player has their own taste especially if they're going to buy.

I agree with it being overpriced. Somewhere in 1 ofthese threads it was called the "bloatware bundle" which I like. Cryptic might be thinking adding 2 normal ship coupons to the bundle adds value but I think it showed just how diluted this bundle really is.

After the fact I'm going to go through each ship & the ships' components & tally-up how much it would cost to create an already in-game equivalent or close to it if these ships end-up being good (the Vor'cha might), I'm suspecting it will be a fraction of the cost of this bundle though I concede it won't have the "exclusive" ship skins, traits, nor the all-ground-trait Worf, monk robes, or title lol.
The coupons are not bound from what I saw. Though the Tactical Maneuvering Matrix can't be put onto the legendary excelsior class ship. That needs to be fixed.
If those T6 coupons aren't bound, & I didn't buy the bundle, I say that is a positive by Cryptic to offer buyers more flexibility, but I'm on the outside looking in on this one.
I can't believe Feds got Holo-Bashir with 2 space traits and Holo-Worf has all ground traits. When the Klingons finally do get a Boff with Space Warfare Specialist, it's a recruit only Boff. It's like every part of this bundle is worse than it could have been, and for no good reason.
Swell, I just spent a fortune in upgrade modules for my fleet Kamarag and NOW you introduce the T6 Vorcha with the universal Lt. Commander I need for a science station ?

Using the upgrade boxes from the Phoenix Prize Packs are far more economical than any of the upgrade modules. There is a youtube video showing that...maybe I can find it again for you.

so boiling this all down opening Phoenix Prize Packs nets you about 21.46 tech points per dil spent vs 11.9 points per dil spent using superior upgrades. That makes Phoenix significantly better. this does not take into account the quality chance upgrade, from what I can tell the chance is better for Phoenix upgrade compared to a superior but if there is a number behind the standard % chance improvement shown it would make it tough to calculate, and from what I can tell it varies depending on the item...

I think he meant Fleet Ship Modules.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

That article describes tech upgrades, my main cost were the ship upgrade modules. The T5 Kamarag I already owned and flew for years was ineligible for upgrade to fleetship discount, so I had to repurchase it outright- at 20, 000 fleet credits and 4 upgrade modules (@ 500 ZEN apiece), then an additional 700 ZEN for a starship upgrade requisition token. 2700 ZEN for a single character unlock that I'm close to throwing an experimental upgrade token on to get a 12 console specialized ship with no ship trait, no specialist seating, and a LT. Tactical seat. It's still my favorite ship and I'll argue one of the best ships in the game until they release the legendary Vor'Cha- which has EVERYTHING the fleet K'maj has PLUS a trait and 2 specialized BOFF seats.

Holy smokes. That is a raw deal. I could invite you to our fleet if you think it might help you feel better.

Naw, I'm good. Took me years to save for the 'upgrade' and I'm not the least bit disappointed with performance. Even tho our fleet is pretty maxed on all of our projects, most of the members have abandoned the game for more klingon friendly endevours. me and 2 other guys keep the doors open and launch projects when we need to generate credits. None of my klingon toons really need a legendary ship, and TBH with the recent skills rework I havent gotten around to rebuilding them. Me and 1 TOS fed are all I play anymore, and even the fed is flying a T5 lockbox ship I got off the exchange for next to nothing. The T6 tokens are collecting dust in the bank since I have zero interest in these fantasy DSC horrors they keep putting in the store.
