Can we get some KDF ships now XD

Like I don't even play KDF but they are waay behind in terms getting ships... can they get some decent ships?

    Well at this point the anniversary is likely to involve a KDF legendary bundle. Although I would not be surprised if we get an early/mid January ship release that isn't KDF.

    I do have to ask you say they are getting "way" behind in ships and in numbers that is true but what ships would you suggest they add and what would they do.
    As the KDF currently have quite a fair few decent ships and even then a lot of there ships are still quite good let alone decent, so i am just curious what you think the KDF Faction needs in terms of ships and play styles for said ships.

    Though as Mentioned above they will probbably get a Legendary bundle at some point soonish and my guess it will contain:
    - Legendary Bird of prey (B'rel or similar)
    - Legendary Battlecruiser (D7)
    - Legendary Flight deck battlecruiser (K't'inga or disco style D7)
    - Legendary Support Battlecruiser (Vor'cha)
    - Legendary Heavy battlecruiser (Negh'Var
    - Legendary Flagship battlecruiser (Bortasqu')
    these make the most sense to me to be Legendary ships though they might also do a legendary Sarcophagus.

    But What ships do you think the KDF currently need as personally I think they have a good selection of ships so far and personally am not too sure what else they could add without getting repetitive.

    The bigger question is even if there are Legendary KDF ships would people pay that steep price with real money or even the gigantic hoard of dilithium required at that outrageous pricing lol. Although I am pretty sure even then with these steep prices they will probably just go into some kind of promo pack RNG since they probably won't sell and the dilithium rate calling the currency worthless would be an epic understatement.

    At this point I'd be looking forward to more Jem'hadar and Romulan ships as most the new KDF stuff is disco and look so terrible to me they keep topping my personal ugliest ship awards. Frustrating they give those such good specs and battle cloaks.

    Paper plate ships? What in ENT or earlier series could be considered a "paper plate ship"?

    I would add some non-carrier ships for Orions, non-destroyers for Nausicans, non-escorts for Letheans, and non-science ships for Gorn just to round the KDF races out a bit since they are a sort of feudal confederation and so each race would logically maintain their own complete space navies even if they tend to contribute a particular type to the mutual defense pool more than other types.

    "ENT or earlier series". Granted, we see the Enterprise J one time in Enterprise, but it's not from that time period.

    Also, one ship doesn't mean anything.

    The Enterprise J - or rather, the Universe Class - is not from Enterprise or an earlier series even if it was seen in Enterprise.

    As for my second sentence, it's easily understood, too: one ship - even considering all the faction variants - does not equal to every Disco ships so far released in game. Hence: one ship doesn't mean anything.

    if there is, it'll be a drop box with a .00000001 chance of getting one, and even then $$$$$ spent for keys

    What do you mean by they will be in a box?
    As the ships I suggested Is just what I think might be in the legendary bundle and i'm pretty sure they will still do KDF ships for zen and such.
    Also pretty sure lockbox chances are not that low.

    thought it was confirmed that KDF ships dont sell... hell even KDF players will use a Fed ship if given the chance, ie Titan.

    Do you have some data that backs up that claim? Do you know for a fact that a large number of KDF players bought the Titan because they wanted to fly it on their KDF characters? I suspect (without evidence) that it is more likely that they already bought it for a Fed character and decided to claim it on their KDF for the novelty of it.

    You also must take into consideration that there are fewer KDF players, so doing a direct comparison to Fed ship sales is not a fair assessment. It is my hope that this will change with the upcoming KDF recruitment event.

    I’d personally like to see some KDF hybrid designs. I love the design of the Alliance ship and think that should be part of any new ship designs going forward. No more just adding T6 versions of ships but whole new designs. If they’re going to push the Alliance then make it all encompassing. A KDF/Romulan design would be awesome in my opinion but that’s just my opinion.

    Yeah that is the primary suspect. However, I've also speculated they might do a KDF legendary with some Fed ships in it to sweeten the deal and entice more Feds to buy the pack, and a Legendary Excelsior would certainly be a lot of honey in the pot.
