December 19 is the last day we can start the event in order to finish it on time.
Last time - we had to pay 600 zen to finish the event, now we will pay the same if the bug is fixed on the 21st. I think the admins like this bug

I payed only once and just for that credit cap, I WILL NEVER PAY AGAIN, I am f2p and wanted just that option avalaible, and I didn´t want to wait for 400 ZEN, but I am really angry for that cash that I spent...
First of all I hate javascript, way to many ways to generate an error. I would rather write Java or C++ (and they are a pain).
BUT... Select shard 0 catches my eye, generally select 0 means select Null or basically Select "nothing"
What Shard is given for people who can get into the game normally?

Guys, bugs and issues like this happen from time to time. I have made the necessary reports to the higher ups. I don't like this, the devs don't like this, no one likes this, but bugs are going to happen from time to time in a game's life. There is no nefarious plot or anything to force people to pay zen or lobi to the finish the event. As much as I've talked to some of these guys I can assure you they're terrible liars and one of them would've let it slip by now. It will get fixed. far as to how long it will take I have no clue.
"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again." - Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek Generations
For me issue still persists. First I tried already fresh installed steam version, no luck. Then went back to my cousin, was able to play there, so I copied entire folder and brought back home to me just to be disappointed. Here's what debug.log says:
[1216/234859:INFO:CONSOLE(0)] "Uncaught ReferenceError: LauncherAPI is not defined," source: about:blank(1)

A brief description on the issue, is: I see Cryptic Logo load twice, when House Shattered Logo appears, doesn't seem to have any hard drive activity, and the screen keeps there until I receive a crash error. While on House Shattered screen I'm able to move mouse normally. Looking on the errors above, I cleaned the folder "cef_cache" then debug.log only shows me first and last error

What's ticking me off is we are missing out on 3 Ship upgrades and another Ship. That and my Son sent me an early Christmas present the Terran Warship Connie and I can't even get in to unpack and use it.

Thank you for staying in touch with us.
Here's what I can see:
-This bug appears very similar to the bug that happened back in October, during the start of the Oct. event, and is maybe being caused by the same issue(s) that began at the [patch] start of this current event. The issue(s) seem to be event related.
Has anyone tried to disable all of the event related content in the patch to see if the issue is being caused by something related to this event?
Looking good so far. Able to log, and play again. Thanks!
Couple of points worth noting:
-Graphics settings were changed. I set them back to how I had them before (I think), and the graphics seem to look a little better. Color seems more colorful, black seems blacker.
-Characters load up on the character select screen noticeably much quicker! Also, screen loading in other areas seems a little bit quicker too.
-Changing characters (from the character select screen) did produce one minor issue, once, when it kicked me to the log-in screen while loading a character. That's an old issue however, and it doesn't bother me much, so long as it only happens during a character change.
-All skills are ok. Nothing invalid, no reset...I forgot to look at traits though.
Otherwise, I am just happy to be able to get back in game. Thanks again to all who helped to get this matter resolved!
I'm getting crashes to desktop a few seconds after logging into a character. Yesterday it happened twice, today three times. Always it's about 30s to 1m after logging in. Force Verify seemed to fix it yesterday, I'm trying the same again today.
On Demand Patching is turned off, and the game is running Windowed/Maximised. I was not getting the original issue but the logs above made me think it might be the same/related problem.
EDIT: Force verify worked again... we'll see if this reoccurs next time I log in I guess.

It's the primary missions I have not participated in any TFO during this whole event; the fear of getting penalized because my game decides to randomly crash WHILE I'm in the middle of a TFO.
I've been getting this type of crash at random intervals; sometimes I could be gaming for a solid 30 minutes...then the game will unexpectedly crash. I could be gaming for another 10 minutes after logging back in...then an unexpected crash. My game would also crash a mere 6 seconds after I log in after the previous crash.
The point is that they are all random and unexpected. The only thing certain is that the game will definitely crash if you're in the middle of a mission; one will not be able to complete a mission without encountering crashes like this.
For me, the crashes started when I got back into Star Trek Online during the 2nd week of December, when my game updated and was hosting the "Q's Winter Wonderland" event. To this day, I'm still seeing those crashes.
I'm having a similar issue to, only for me it was after the patch that supposedly fixed the issue that I began experiencing it, same error codes as been presented in this thread. I have two computers capable of running STO:
My desktop is a Ryzen 1700 with 48 Gigs of RAM and a First Gen RTX2070
My Laptop is a Ryzen 7 3750 with 16 gigs of RAM and an RTX2060
Between the two computers it is my desktop that constantly crashes STO. I have heard somewhere that a large majority that are having an issue have a Ryzen 7 1700x, could the processor be the issue?
Same. I just came back after a few months to see if it would finally work (I'm a Lifetime Member since launch). Jut a black screen and no game. This shows up in my event viewer.
The program GameClient.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
