    > And what is your point? The NX was literally a unshielded light cruiser which originally was equipped with missiles and we have it as a T6...doesn't matter if the D5 is old, no reason it can't be brought in.

To be fair, nobody said it can't be a T6. Sorceror simply pointed out that a D5 is in the game. However, they were of course deliberately obtuse to the fact that of course falkenkezef was meaning a T6 (actually regularly playable) version and not a freighter.

So both parties were a bit silly here.

The D5 is already in the game

The white knighting is looking a bit desperate at this point.

Pointing to the FREIGHTER and trying to claim it's a D5?

Actually, there was a military fuel transport that was built on the D5 hull in ENT, it was in the episode Marauders.

HMS Eagle was built as a dreadnought but converted to a carrier. Was it still considered a dreadnought?

A freighter built on a cruiser hull is not a cruiser. It's so desperate of the white knights and feddy bears to deny KDF any T6 ships these days.

There is no D5 Cruiser in game so how about the KDF get a ship every now and again? Would it trigger the feddy bears so much if a ship came out that wasn't fed?

Nobody says that. Please stop stirring up imaginary flames over a conflict that is only in your head. Nobody of your straw people opposes Klingon ships. Yes, it was clear you were talking about a T6 ship and Sorceror mistook you on purpose but it'd be much more constructive if this stupid tribalism forum-pvp of imaginary factions would stop.

No, I believe that would go to the cardassian intel ships

Still cannot find the fleet version of Titan on KDF, anywhere. I checked all the Tier tabs, tried unchecking all the ship types, tried both KDF fleet shipyard and Qonos shipyard. I do own the C-Store variant, so should be seeing one for 1 FSM but it's missing. The T6 Fleet Luna does show up on Fed, but in the (non-fleet) T6 Tab. (yes, KDF can fly this ship too as confirmed by Cryptic on twitter).

Based on the wording of the tweet it sounds like it wasn't originally intended, they just decided to leave it as is rather than fix it. So the fleet version is probably working as originally intended, though you'd have to ask the devs if it's gonna stay that way.

The T6 Fleet version seems to be missing from the shipyard store.

Edit: it wasn't available through T6 Fleet science ships directly but I kept going through different options until it finally showed up.

I don't consider Mudd's part of the zen store hence why I framed my question as it is.

Hence why I asked my question as, "the first single ship release," besides with your statement didn't those 31st Century Temporal ships release before the Cardassians pack?

That is very IMPORTANT to know if the Titan's fleet version is assessible for KDF-aligned too???

It was totally intended and was hinted at when the initial blog post said KDF could use the console.

I am not sure why they would spin it as being a bug”—unless they thought the KDF would be angry at the implications that all ships going forward may be cross-factioned.

Again, in your opinion it was intended. In my opinion and with actual official evidence, it was not. Sometimes it helps to clarify this to avoid people thinking one is intentionally spreading misinformation.

The blog post was full of omissions, no mention of an experimental weapon slot (the dysons still lack this), bridge officer seating tranformation, ship mastery transformation, and the clear fact that some starship traits are made available free using the dilithium store if a Fed variant is unlocked.

    It isn't a console either, it's a starship trait.

I appreciate your reasoning, and I am not claiming some conspiracy.

I think faction-free ships are a good move for players and for Cryptic’s business. Intentional or not, is just a minor point of semantics.

We should realistically assume this is a Pandora’s box that will open up a new precedent in the game.

But here is one more argument. If it were actually a bug, and were it (presumably) a CBS-legal question, they sure got CBS approval quickly.

One more consideration: the ship may have been planned to be opened up cross-factioned in the future. It may be a bug that it is open now. Kael may have not known either. My point is only suspicion.

I disagree, I think the blog post was actually hinting at some new system that is coming in the future but is not ready to be announced.

Considering how badly things could break if they pulled the ships from players that had already claimed it, it was probably pretty easy to explain to CBS that fixing it was simply not feasible, leaving it on the C-Store as-is is simply a matter of fairness to those who hadn't done it yet.

My conclusions after having run around with it:
-The ship itself feels a lot like the dyson ships.. minus the special dyson ship-set stuff. The double lt.cmdr sci seats during tactical mode is a bit weird, but not in a bad way(considering one is a spec seat).

-Trait was disappointingly underwhelming - further compounded by the summon only having a 90s duration. Probably need a bit more testing with a faster fleet-spam build, but I really can't justify the trait slot for it from what I've seen so far. The Superior Command Frequency Trait (from Command Spec) is a much better choice if you want to summon Battleship grade pets - it lasts longer and provides more ships. (I ran both at the same time, and, again, found the trait to be very underwhelming compared to other pet-spam options.)

-Console is pretty amazing and far surpassed my already lofty expectations. The mass Disable-spam completely shuts down everything in your forward cone for a pretty lengthy amount of time(no shields, no movement, no weapons, no ability-spam; more than enough time to kill them before the systems come back online). You get 3 staggered salvos per activation, and it's completely disgusting what you can do with it on those infinite-spawn/timed combat objectives. The Tactical Mode version of the salvos is.. okay; a bit more flashy than amazing(especially compared to the science/default mode). The passives are also a great addition to any kind of dps build.

I ALWAYS suggested something like this...being able to capture an enemy faction's ship (one per toon or account) and use it for their own. I'd would have done it via an event or something, with a randomly chosen, but good quality ship....but this is just as good.

Well the feddy bears stole one of our BoP, would not be surprised if they release a legendary fed only HMS Bounty. I wouldn't fly a feddybear garbage scow, but for roleplayers it's got a trojan horse element.

Well, I picked it up last night, finally getting to use one of my two 100% off T6 Event Tokens. Went down to ESD and purchased the Fleet version and upgraded it with a T6X Token. It has one less Universal Console slot than the Legendary Intrepid T6X. While it doesn't have the Pets, it has an additional Weapon Fore and if in Tactical Mode an Experimental Weapon.

I actually have TS III now and added Kemocite II. There are more Science Stations and added Subspace Vortex, but I did lose EP2Aux. I took the Fleet Version into Patrols and after Argala had a bit left, Rule of Aquisition 9 finished it off.

When in Science Mode (I don't see much use for the Tac Mode) my EPG numbers are the same as the Legendary Intrepid. CtrlX went up.

    Very good Ship.

    First look at USS Iapetus
I put an engineer alt into the ship, and it is really squishy. solo at one of the control towers in dyson I died twice, and had a very hard time staying alive solo in the Badlands. I did realise after the fact hat I had set skills and traits but not the reputations. hopefully they will make it less squishy. I tried to run the ship 50/50 tac and sci. in retrospect, I think the Sci/Command slotted straight up Command would be the way to go as a light cruiser. when I respecced Katrina, I tried to make her a generalist, so I will post her skills as well. I have a ways to go as far as traits, since she is a second tier alt.
