So far, the pack is a huge hit with me. We already have a thread going about our desire for KDF and Romulan Legendary ships but in addition to that, I think that Cryptic should consider releasing MORE Federation Legendary ships in the future.
Same with me. There is/was almost nothing about the pack that didn't appeal to me. Actually, I'm probably in the minority in that I wasn't drawn to it by the Constitution class ships in the bundle (already own both Prize versions).
It's a hit for me too - I didn't have either the Connie or Donnie before this and I'm enjoying them both, but there's nothing in the pack that's disappointed me at all.

Full command/pilot excelsior with a hangar bay. Let's target that explosion and flyh apart!!!
Yeah if we are gonna hate the current legacy pack because you didn't get your utter stupid dual full spec command pilot excelsior, I will hate the pack for not getting a full dual spec pilot/intel mogai. Don't be stupid here. You can be mad your fav ship isn't in there...but let's ask for reasonable things here. Not happy that they don't have Romulan ships at all for the 10 year anni event...but I ain't stupid enough to realize why they made this pack...or why it is selling well.
I'm thinking that you're misunderstanding the tone of our posts. It's all positive here.

So something like this? To enable that for the Excelsior EAW/OP had to be modded.

well regardless once they added the 2 other connies having been a lts member from the start a decade ago it was me mad as hell and either get the pack or walk away for good....
So far i am enjoying the pack.
As a side note i should leave the forums Rapid cycling bipolor and a keyboard are not my friends.
I was hesitant to buy it at first, but so far I'm really pleased with my experience with the ships I've played with so far.
Most of my time has been with the Intrepid, which I really like. I've played a bit with the Defiant, which is a beast. The DISCO Conni is really fun. I'm still a little on the fence about the Oddy though.
You know, I always hated the design of the JJPrise, but the Beyond version's thinner neck and more reasonably sized nacelles has made it grow on me a bit. I'm currently playing a new Disco era character as sort of a Disco/JJ mashup, ship is the JJPrise (Beyond variant with '09 pylons, Sovereign Refit hull material), JJ uniforms (Survival Suit for my dedicated away team), Disco ground weapons, and Disco Terran beam arrays (red like the JJ phaser arrays, but firing FX look better and the bonus isn't useless). I'm even using the blue bussards because they suddenly don't bother me anymore (I HATED that detail when JJTrek '09 came out).
Side note: if a dev reads this (probably won't, but doesn't hurt to try ), could you possibly make it so the Disco cyborg Boff can use the JJ badge if it's unlocked? I was able to put her in the Survival Suit, but she's the only member of my away team without a badge because that one isn't available for her.
You know, I always hated the design of the JJPrise, but the Beyond version's thinner neck and more reasonably sized nacelles has made it grow on me a bit.
The issue I still find with the JJPrise is the slight bend in the nacelle pylons.
This might be a stupid question, but are parts of the same family of ships interchangeable? For instance, could I miss and match parts of the JJprize with it's Beyond counterpart? Can all parts of the Disco Connie mix with all the parts of the other Constitution variants?
Thanks for the responses! CM

JJPrize and the Beyond JJPrize can be mixed togther, Disco Connie and the concept art variant can be mixed together, and the Phase II Connie can be mixed with the TMP, TOS, and various Cryptic Connie designs.
Beyond that there are size issues. The Disco Connie is 1.5 times as large as the TOS Connie, and the JJPrize is the size of a Galaxy class ship, so the three unfortunately cannot be mixed together. Imo it should be rather simple for them to resize the parts to make them available on the other variants, but the fact that they have not done this makes me think CBS might not want them doing that for some reason.
The (Legendary) Intrepid has actually become the pimary choice of my second Science officer.
I haven't seen too many around either - but I honestly think that too many players are missing the point with this ship and get too hung up on tactical capabilities.
Frankly, it's a science powerhouse!
I get the point of the layout and I don't have a problem with strong science ships, but the layout doesn't fit the new costume at all. If they weren't going to give it the tactical heavy build it deserves then they should have saved the Warship costume for a Mirror Universe Intrepid and come up with a different design for the Legendary variant.
You can use the costumes on any ship of the same Class. That's how my lockbox Donnie now has the straight up Nacelle pylons of the original Eaves concept Orthos (I agree with what others have said that it's a nice design/update based on the original Starship Class/Constitution Class from TOS (which is still THE best Star Trek series IMO ); and I REALLY think that on ST: D - the TMP style swept back pylons were one thing too much for me to say - yep it fits in a time time supposedly 10 years before TOS. If they'd gone with the straight up split pylons, I could have better accepted it for that era. But now, my LockBox Donnie has the look I prefer. (YMMV.)
Since over the years I already managed to snag all the Lockbox Starship Class/Constitution variants; believe it or not the selling points for me (and at the sale price of $195.50 I do think the pack was worth it) were the new ship costume pieces - and while I never cared for Drexler's NX-01 update, I love what Cryptic did for a 23c version of the skin and the material, so one of my Tac alts will be flying that as his main ship now - and having the Donnie Advanced Phasers spawnable for free (not 40K Dilithium a pop); and now available account wide; plus 10 ship traits that can be unlocked account wide - and a number of pretty decent to very good -- even if you have the Lockbox versions of these ship as the ships in the Pack ARE different.
I wouldn't pay $300 for it myself (and the $$293 sale/$450 full Bundle is just TOO much for some extra Gamble mechanic items at any time IMO) - but, if you're a new player, and find you really like the game, but haven't picked of a lot of ships from the C-Store - if you can scrape together the cost, it's 10 very good C-Store ships plus some nice 'space barbie' (hey, it's part of the game whether I like to admit to being a part of it on occasion for a few of my favorite ships)add ons and extra ship slots if you're not into Alts.
In the end, with all the Dilithium I had saved up - I could have gotten it by just buying another $20 worth of Zen - but when the V-Day Zen sale hit; I decided to splurge and go for the $50 deal; which left me with a nice reserve of Dilithium to level up/upgrade all the new gear I'm going to be putting on my Alts.

True, but the only other T6 Intrepid, the Pathfinder, also only has a Lt Tactical seat and only 2 Tac consoles. It's always possible a new variant could come out at some point with more of a tactical focus, but until that happens I'm always going to look at the Warship Intrepid costume as the black sheep of the bundle because it should have been saved for an actual warship.
I don't understand why people are so upset about the "Warship Voyager". It's a good ship. But then I personally have never liked the look of it anyways, I'll stick to the good old intrepid skin

Could it be that there is a warship class of ship on STO and a warship Voyager which was neither a science or warship class of vessel, merely it was an intrepid class ship. The categorisation on STO has confused the whole thing about it being a warship, it's just a name, and just a skin

Yes, the ship itself is good, no issue there, I'm using it on my science character and it's great (not using the Warship skin though due to the layout). But as a long time fan of the Warship skin I am extremely disappointed that when the devs finally decided to add it into the game they decided to attach it to a pure science ship instead of an actual warship or escort, because a design with that many guns should be on a tactical powerhouse rather than a science powerhouse.
Again the ship is great, there's nothing wrong with it from a performance perspective, but with that layout they should not have given it the Warship costume. My only hope now for this skin is that a tactical heavy Mirror Universe variant get's released at some point so that I can actually bring myself to use it.

Visually, I would say it does need to use energy weapons to make use of all those hardpoints. I would have thought 6 weapon slots would be more than enough to do this, visually.
Edit: I'm all for mirror variants. It's a largely unexplored realm. Seeing mirror legendaries would get me smiley, no pun intended 😁
Warship Voyager shouldn't have been a superficial costume, but a total ship theme. 4/2, 5/1, tac LTC at the very least if you still want it to be a science ship. It could also have been a proper warship with 5/3, and no science gimmicks which would have been an interesting ship.
I think it was doomed to be a science ship though, as they have so many damn cruisers in the pack, they had to have a couple science ships and a couple escorts since they weren't putting any KDF ships in there.
I just realized that you can unlock the Legendary ships with FED aligned Romulans. Which is actually kinda sad because now my FED-Roms can fly Constitutions but they can't fly a Romulan version of the D7. And KDF Romulans are stuck with the worthless Fleet T5-U K'Tinga. The Romulans really need a D7 with the awesome canon paint job.

On the other hand. When you're at war, you have to deal with numbers primarily and science does this perfectly. The science of war 😉

My criticisms are all valid. We never saw hangar bays on the Galaxy on the screen, why should it's legend have it?
I know you're all for updates but this isn't canon at all.

Yes we did. Shuttle bay 2 was always seen in episodes.

I still can't get over my disappointment with that ship, I can't help and wish cryptic could change it but it's impossible that they will after a ship is released, I hope they can at least consider making a third intrepid variant and making it more warship focused in stats, I want an excuse to use an Intrepid on my tac toon for a change.

As that's a double negative statement, of sorts I do hope you're not getting ready to launch yet more flack at my starboard bow.
I like elements of the bundle, but got bored of bleating on since I kept seeing legendaries all round the game already
