Greetings Captains!
We will be having a maintenance tomorrow 7/11 (convenient!) at 7AM Pacific for 2.5 hours. What time is this for me?

    "Players who have Sponsorship tokens from before the Tier 6 Reputation update will now be able to trade them in for 100 marks via the existing marks conversion stores."

    Was this ever mentioned as a possibility? I tossed all of mine a long time ago since they were just taking inventory space and the consensus seemed to lean toward their being worthless.

    I wonder how many people actually saved these for the past 9 months. Nice for the folks that did, I suppose.

    Nice list of additions/fixes.. thanks.

    A reduction in Lag sounds great, and I really like that we can now set all hangars to Autofire. Those are the highlights for me. :smiley:

    Yes it was. They said in a livestream I believe that they hoped to do something about them. I didn't watch the stream, so it also must have been discussed fairly widely in the forums at the time.

    • Made behind the scenes changes to improve server performance and reduce the feeling of lag. ~ It wasn't too bad most of the time, but it was impactful so much appreciated, Cryptic.

    • Resolved an issue that was causing unbound Duty Officers to become bound after completing an assignment.
    ○ This will also unbind any Duty Officers that were affected by this issue. ~ This is such an excellent fix of a supreme annoyance. Well done, Cryptic, now let's not do it yet again. It was really affecting players & "DOFFing" negatively in many ways.

    • Players who have Sponsorship tokens from before the Tier 6 Reputation update will now be able to trade them in for 100 marks via the existing marks conversion stores. ~ This is an excellent compensation move too, but it does seem like it is maybe a lot too late when compared to the thought process planning & execution of that move, Cryptic, but hopefully more of the players kept their tokens for something like this than did not.

    • Hangar bays can now be set to autofire, in addition to ship weapons. ~ I remember a couple of 10FW streams ago this was mentioned so wtg, Cryptic, on this qol improvement for players.

    ~ I'm sure the other fixes are appreciated too, Cryptic, so kudos & thanks.

    nice on sneaking in a fix for doff binding (i didn't see it in the tribble notes, so i assume it was a last-minute addition)

    and i'm definitely going to appreciate the autofire for hangar pets​​

    The tailor/character creation is broken. For Example: Female Aliens with a Humanoid can no longer be bald. Using a tailor forces a bald female alien with humanoid head to choose a hair option and the BALD/NONE hair option is now missing completely.

    Can you do anything about what appears to be the akmai security server this games passes all data though at 93.191.173.x which is responsible for a large amount of the lag? Its also the cause of some dropouts.

    they can't do anything about that...connection routing is not under the control of the ones transmitting or receiving data​​

    Does this mean that new DSC toons will finally have access to the T6 Discovery era ships after the DSC tutorial? Or will they still have to wait until they jump forward in time to ESD?
    People ask how long have I been playing STO - well the answer is simple: I have been here since the beginning. I just haven't always had a lot to say.

    I'm just curious as to whether or not being unable to feel the lag will actually reduce the lag.

    As I understand it and I could be wrong. They choose to route data though that server and pay into a service for it.

    Discovery-era Starfleet starships are now available to Discovery characters from the ship vendor on the Discovery-era Starfleet Academy.

    Would have been nice...

    I bought them on demand in the past so I have just one. Where are located the marks conversion stores?

    Hi, since the patch today I can't login into game - I get this message in login screen - "Login Server Internal Error, Refresh Game Account Data Failed" I sent a report and hope this get fixed
