Same issue. I wonder if I will get the form copy paste message to reboot my computer? The last time this happened a couple of year ago around the post launch of Delta, my toon lost about a weeks worth of items and gains. I sincerely hope that this doesn't happen again.

I, too, am having the same issue. Put in a ticket but haven't heard anything from ARC. Another person I know was playing while I couldn't get in and having no problem until just now when he tried to switch characters. but he was able to get back in. I still can't. It seems to only be affecting some players.
"Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" all day long. was able to get on around noon and then it kicked me out swapping toons and won't let me back in. just "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" can't even force verify files or patch unless you can log in.
Update: I am now able to log in w/ the launcher & load the game. However, once at the character select screen I'm getting disconnected w/ the same error.
Please,support them more by getting lifetime subscription and giving your money for zen.
