are pilot maneuvers any good in pve? do you loose all aggro/auto lock dmg when you jump in a direction? like if someone let loose a torp spread and it is traveling towards ya... jump in a direction. Do the torp spread suddenly all miss like if you did a barrel-roll?
I kept on saying they would be Kumari's and I was right. It's very likely now that Dyson Destroyers will be next year, and possibly something completely new for the 10th anniversary.

There is a brief period of damage immunity after a pilot maneuver, so the torpedo spread will still hit your ship, but it won't do anything to it.
Purchase will have to wait since i bought the faction wide command cruiser pack recently.
I'm curious if the Andorian T6 ships can use the Kumari consoles.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I'm sure that the Andorian ships will be able to use the T5 Andorian Skins as the ships unlock the same Phasers as the T5s.
Again, another way to mitigate the changes they made with the Space Rebalancing update re Gravity Wells. Nerf then sell new partial mitigations to said nerf.
To be honest, the Lethean ships should be ugly to match the crew.

Like the new Andorian design, KDF design looks like something out of EVE Online (which I'm ok with)
But WTF is with the Dewan design? I mean that in a good way, it's different and cool, but where the hell did this come from? I like it, but idk if it works as a pilot ship

It looks like these ships wont be getting a fourth console set bonus with the anniversary event ship console unlike the last few years ships, the tactical ships are pretty much getting the shaft.
I don't know why everyone says toilet brush, when it's clearly a pine cone. That said, as much I I don't have an interest in either escorts or pilot ships, I may very well pick up that Ikkabar just to get that trait.

...but the consoles sound like a mishmash of stuff not suited for an escort and have no synergy, so that's a let-down, but still somewhat interested in them since my fed sci main has no pilot ships.
I imagine you didn't specifically call out the torpedo drones because a higher volume of torpedoes heading downrange is always useful (and if you're using a lot of science boff abilities, you might well be running Torpedo Astrometric Synergy...). A pity they can't 'adapt' to match whatever your front torpedo is... can you imagine this with something like the Kentari missiles? Thermionic ordinance?
Gateway Trap Spawner: how does this work? Does your starship enter it like a teleport in a straight line, catching enemies in it too? Is it affected by sci skills like control or epg?
I suspect it works similarly to the Heisenberg Amplifier boff skill - spawns a gateway near the targets which pulls them in and dumps them X km away; however, if the target(s) are attentive, they might be able to destroy the gateway before the effect actually triggers (see: various Iconian gateways). And yes, it might benefit from CtrlX and EPG too.
Neurophasic Disruption Field: so it disables starship(s), with EPG damage and subsystem drain? Again, does it scale with sci skills?
Again, I suspect the answer to be 'yes'.
All of this said, I also suspect that these consoles form a set, too... and that, as opined above, the new Andorian ships can also use the consoles from their 'ancestors'.
At the very least the Letheans resemble Breen ships.
Incoming imagery of Lethean ships w/Breen shield visuals in 5, 4, 3...
The ROM ships on the other hand...WTF?!? Why is it that all the romulans ships with pilot manuvers looks like piles of excraments?!? Can we please have romulans ships with pilor manuvers that actually looke nice please? PLEASE?
Not a fan of the romulan ships either. The design isn't sleek and birdlike
Thinking maybe it was inspired by the holo ship from enterprise? That would be okay, if it had strengths that played to that end.

Well of course, they are Dewan ships not Romulan ships, it's an allied ship bundle after all.
There's only one question that matters: can the Andorian ships use the Kumari parts for kitbashing?
It's very likely that they will since both the T5 and T6 Odyssey's and T5 and T6 Vesta's could, but you would likely need to buy them both just the same.
Ugly ships galore lately .I guess the trend is still going.I wonder why.It is obvios to most people that the design lately is not pleasing to the eye and they just keep pumping out this monstrosities. No offence but i can find on specialized sites 20-30 better designed ships made by enthusiastic or unfortunately unemployed designers.

Andorian: Cool stuff
Dewan: Silurian fish ships, neat! Lethean: B-WINGS!!!
My very first thought on seeing them...that alone is almost worth it. Gonna probably wait a bit on purchase, since outright doubling grav well seems like a prime target for toning down shortly after release.
2 new energy/weapon types and several powerful and desireable traits mean the whole bundle is on the wishlist.

My thought on the look of those and how it works for pilot ships is the aesthetic connection to the romulan drone ships from ENT, the original users of what resemble pilot maneuvers.

Agreed. Their ship design process needs a reboot...or would that only make it worse? There were a lot of awesome ships for Starfleet Command III and Bridge Commander made by some awesome modders. Cryptic should be hiring people like them.

Dewan ships? Dewan?? A race that's been extinct for 150,000 years?!
This is like saying "Hey I want a new car. Let's buy Fred Flintstone's car."
By the way, are Romulans ever getting any chance to show off their trophies in the Romulan Ship interior?
Probably not anytime soon.

So we will be waiting for our royalties in the mail. Kthxby

It reminds me of a Firefly.
Indeed they do.

Now, if there was a T6 Vulcan Cruiser, my life would be complete...

Thanks.
