Personally, I would be careful about speculations regarding the Miracle Worker spec. It could just as well turn out to be a "secondary only" spec like Commando and Strategist.
I think the T6 Nova will come in a bundle with a T6 Saber (yes that's also missing) and some other ship like the T6 Cheyenne (can't be the Connie for obvious reasons).
KDF gets a bundle with various BoPs and Raptors that are stuck on low tiers.
Romulans? Uh no clue, entirely news ships I guess.
That's the point though, lockbox dual hybrid, sci ship trumps C-store T6 version of a T5 ship. And they wouldn't want to impact on the sales of the more popular (i.e the lock box) one.
Oh.
What annoys me the most about the lack of a T6 Nova is that Cryptic basically missed the perfect opportunity to release one (Delta Rising with its heavy featuring of Harry Kim and the U.S.S. Rhode Island). Instead, we got the Dauntless, a pretend Starfleet vessel. While I do like the Dauntless design, I believe that it should have been released at a later date.
Yeah - have to admit that did surprise me.
I've said this before though - one of the reasons I am so cheesed off at the lack of T6 Nova is the fact that there have been occasions when it looked as if it might be in the pipeline:
Delta Rising and Garret Wang's voicework - I hoped (and I don't think I was alone) that this might mean that Captain Kim's ship, the USS Rhode Island, might get some attention - especially considering how highly it featured. Nope - they used the same old inaccurate model (which looks like something from a game made in 2001) as always, made worse by the fact that it looked SO poor alongside the remodelled Intrepid class.
Further to the above, the Dauntless class (as mentioned) somehow getting priority over the Nova. I'm sorry, I still don't get this. The Dauntless appeared in ONE TV episode. It didn't feature in any STO episode content. It wasn't a Starfleet ship. Make excuses about the blueprints all you want, this FAKE Starfleet ship should be the one people are still waiting for, not the Nova. The worst thing is that everything the Dauntless can do, including it's console, would have suited the Nova very nicely too!
The Epic Admiralty card. (USS Rhode Island) Quite a few of us thought that this might be indicative of a T6 Nova. Like heck it was.
So yeah, I'm cheesed off - but honestly, it almost feels like I've been trolled at some points during this preposterously long wait.
I feel you. There's no excuse for the Dauntless getting priority over the Nova in Delta Rising. As Spock would say, "this is highly illogical" (and it is indeed).

Yeah, I actually read the blog after I made my post here
But that also made me consider the possibility of the T6 Nova being released as one of the first ships with a single Miracle Worker BOff slot, as the devs will probably create the new "full spec" ships from scratch, as they always do (see Intel starships, Command battlecruisers, Pilot escorts and Temporal starships).
The new spec - just going off its name - could fit the Nova really well, as the Equinox was practically only held together by the hopes and dreams of her crew. And - if I remember the episode correctly - Maxwell Burke, the XO of the Equinox, was almost as brilliant as B'Elanna.

The Nova and Rhode Island already have models in the game. The Dauntless did not. That might have given it preference, since it's something completely new.
Also, releasing the T6 Nova before the Tier 6 Voyager sounds wrong.
And once you released 3 Fed Science Vessels in short succession (Dauntless, Scryer, Voyager), it's time for something else.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
Of course there was a reason. They cannot make any amount of ships in a given time period. So they have to make choices what to do now and what to some time later.
And releasing too many ships at once also means saturating the market and getting less out of these ships. At least that's why I figure they release ships in a relatively steady intervals, mixing lockboxes and promos in between the C-Store releases.

Didn't they release the T6 Intrepid right at the start of Delta Rising? Also, and this is one of reyan01's main gripes, they could have released a T6 Nova instead of the Dauntless, due to the bigger role the Nova had in both the show and the game.
Dauntless was pretty enigmatic, and thus catered to the imagination. It had a slick-looking bridge (which Cryptic did not include, btw). Heck, the Dauntless wasn't even a real ship. (Kinda like the 'warship' Voyager)

Exactly!
The Intrepid remodel wasn't part of the Delta Pack. It was a stand-alone purchase that, when new, came with the remastered interior.
And @roborobin96 is right; the Nova class played a bigger role in the show AND in STO. I mean, we had Captain Kim, voiced by Garret Wang himself, and yet they prioritised a ship that bore no relevant to the Delta Rising storyline whatsoever over Captain Kim's ship which featured pretty heavily.
IIRC, the Dauntless has never even appeared in a single mission to date. Neither in Delta Rising, nor afterwards. There might have been one in "Ragnarok", but I'm not sure (and even then, it played a really small part compared to the Nova).

I just hope that after all that wait and trolling that they don't finally release it as an RnD Pack Grand Prize ship with a .00001% chance to win.
That would REALLY suck.

Who's the prettiest of them all?
