Ok here are a few things that I think would be really cool to see in Star Trek Online.
1) Visible Space Station from the Academy. The space station in orbit around Earth is so big that it would be visible from the Academy. Why not?
2) More to do on Earth, not just events which range from great to kinda boring an repetitive. Maybe make a Holodeck game where you can "train" and in order to use them you need some type of holodeck currency which long past events that you still have stuff for can be traded for example.
3) The ability to choose your ships interior rooms for example say you get the Voyager engineering and Enterprise Med-bay.
4) Access to your bank or better yet a storage only accessible on your ship and those items can be selected if you start the mission on your ship.
5) Once you get to a high enough rank you can have a ship in your fleet follow you with all its load and you can make a bridge officer its Captain and assign other crew members to it numbers very per class and like before the higher rank you are the higher rank the ship can be ( Admiral escort ship can only be ranking of LT and so on).
6) Memory Alpha an actual library and missions that show you the Federation's timeline from Enterprise to current time.
7) Personnel in their assigned areas. (Examples XO in the XO seat, Chief Engineer in Engineering, Chief Medical in Medical)
8) Mixed race option in Character Creator where you can select Human and Andorian then be able to create a Character using both race options and as far as traits it's randomized between the 2 races and it's noted that your character is half Human half Andorian.
9) crew uniform pallet, Where you can select and edit the crew uniforms walking around your ship specifically Command, Science, Engineering, Security and Medical.
10) Do something with the upper and lower areas of the space station
11) Board a shuttle to Earth, your ship or the Captian's area load screen is leaving space station to land in the area you selected to go.

- A ship profiler
- star trek voyager - I just want the ship.
Thanks!
STO Wishlist
- T6 & Fleet T6 Vor'Cha. The T-5u is already awesome (my main ship), but it's a T-5u!
- K'Vort class battlecruiser
- The Warship Voyager (http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Warship_Voyager)
- Axanar ships. Have to wish for that.
- Single Cannons: rear arc and heavy versions
- Cannon abilities: Cannon Overload-all cannons fire simultaneously with increased damage. Example, Star Trek:Insurrection when the Scimitar fires on the Valdore vessel and blows the wing apart.
- Dreadnoughts and destroyers like the Galaxy X and Mat'Ha raptor should have a heavy weapons slot to mount the spinal lance or other heavy weapons because the spinal lance is pretty much a heavy weapon. It would also free up a console space for the Mat'Ha raptor.
- When a player reaches Fleet Admiral, ships in inventory are actually used in game along with the ship your flying instead of just in in the admiralty window. Episodes that have ships warp in to assist you could be those ships. A fleet signal much like the Delta or Pirate Distress signal.
- Automate the admiralty like the duty officers. Paperwork isn't fun. Blowing stuff up is.
- More ways to earn Romulan Rep marks.
- Klingon Shipyard improvements. It needs a bank and exchange.
- EC/Dilithium exchange. I don't want to spend/waste my life saving up for a 250 million credit ship, but I'll happily spend Zen on it.
- An actual in-game holodeck to experience "historical" missions from the TV series.
- More space battle zones for the reputation marks.
- PVP battlezone system. Fly in at your own risk and no whining on why you always get blown up. No rewards except maybe a "kill" counter and monthly display at your home world for your ego.
- Veterans only store with vet only stuff at the Captain's lounge.
- Lingerie for my females.
- Character gender reassignment via genetic alteration or transporter accident because someone mentioned it, I thought it would fit the 25th century, and be funny to see my dude wearing a skirt (at least at first, but could be a kilt)
- One flyable Borg ship. Just one man with the ability to assimilate npc ships!
Perhaps some Battlestar Galactica stuff where Androids pose a problem or something spooky from Aliens involving Undine or Tzenkethi.

2. Buy a house on Earth and decorate.
3. Missions that require multiple toons to complete but not at the same time.
4. Gamma Quadrant sector space.
5. Time travel to the future. 30th century.
Quoted for emphasis.
Still wouldn't mind seeing more attention given to developing new playable species though, especially with unique abilities like the Caitians have. Highest on my list are Voth, followed by Xindi.
Some other things that have been suggested in the (sometimes distant) past and which could be very fun to have are
- taking command of a small task force, with your Boffs acting as XO's on your other ships
- have some of the game take place during the time of the Galactic Union
- a server-wide event with a large scale invasion where players have to take the initiative and organise the defence of countless worlds and stations. Could be something like the Borg, which shouldn't be too problematic for lower level players in terms of why they are attacking
- Exploration
Oh and more randomised content would be nice. Different enemies showing up in a queue, different spawn points etc. Making things a bit less predictable wouldn't hurt.
Though a new AoY purchase caitian species that has unlocks for the regular caitians and ferasans would be good.
More maps designed for us to use the summer jet packs.
Cosmetic option for space suits so we can use the various full armours we earn as a space suit. A Maco walking on the hull of DS9 sounds awesome for example.

This would be good as there are several times, on both ground and space STFs, where someone has blown me away with their loadout and I can't figure out how they are so powerful. I thought it was upgrading everything to XIV, but I've done that now, and got sets from the reputations system, yet I still come across people with some awesome builds.
Sometime I just want to know they ship they are flying as I haven't seen one before, but you can't even get basic info. Or am I missing something?
- Random Distress calls based on Sector Space location.
- BOFF's that can be upgraded and learn traits from BOFF's of other races. (Tired of using all Nausicaans to get the best DPS boost.)
- Ferengi Trading Authority trading post. Instead of using replicator to sell garbage items, gamble with the Ferengi trading authority. You may get a little more...or you may get less. Those darn Ferengi!)
- Food items including: Scotch (In tribute to Commander Montgomery Scott), Klingon War-nog and Bregit Lung.
- Crew that move about your bridge when you're on your ship's bridge. Not as busy as ship corridors.
- Different kinds of sector space anomalies: Black Holes, different types of abandoned ships, temporal anomalies, etc.
Another faction comprised of Cardassians, Ferengi, and Defera. Set with their mutual defense and trade since they can't rely on the Alliance for everything.

I'd also like to see this.
I wouldn't mind if they added all services to our bridges actually. Oh, and full interiors for the ships that don't have them. That's another thing I would want, even if it's just the default interior linked to an unique bridge.
If one logs into T1 queues, he is limited to only gear and abilities a Level 9 captain can access, so no reputation or commendation passives, no ship traits, no skillpoints, etc, with gear quality limited to white MkII output, and so on.
The most difficult challenge facing potential PvP players is the players with years of traits, reps, and skills. (Gear is far less of an issue than typical PvE players will ever believe. I engaged in PvP with a pair of MkX plasma beam arrays on my T5 freebie torp boat, for example.) So long as access to those things requires play time, the old guys will never meet a fair challenge and the new guys will never catch up. If the game itself is unfairly penalizing those with less game time and disproportionally rewarding those with more, it doesn't take long for the average player to abandon it, as can be seen in STO's current PvP queues.
With level matching to reduce all of the abilities to the level an average captain of that tier posesses, PvP once again becomes a competitive feature. While there are certainly are a lot of PvP haters, there are many more who tried, got trounced repeatedly without ever understanding why, and then left frustrated by the futility of going head to head with players who would always be five years ahead of them.
This doesn't mean I want to eliminate the PvP we already have, but to simply make it the top "Unlimited" tier, with Tier 1 through 6 queues being level-matched.
- More TOS Themes and Places in general!
I.E. Expansion of Station K-13.
- 23 Century -Back Drops- for TOS characters on screen when in communique with a ship
that has as similar TOS interior configured.
- Original 2260's Interior for the Class F Shuttlecraft!
- TOS (Pilot) Capt Pike 2250's era Uniforms and Equipment - that would be a compliment
to the recent retro The Constitution "B" Pilot Configuration!
- Revamping of the R&D System to allow greater flexiblity options to the base equipments:
(Look, Sound, Mods and Feel) to its overall operation.
I.E. Making the; "Prolong Engagement Phaser", "Quantum Phase" ,"Bio-matter etc... etc..
-Retro-by modifing the Color (Blue) and Sound (TOS) Look (Single or Twin beam)!
- Being able to Modify the clothes of any Humaniod / Android and a like, member of my crew,
no matter who they are, instead of being "grey-out" - case and point the:
I.E. "The Androids" from the episode "What Little Girls are Made of" that you can purchase form
Station K-13 being able to change their attire would be GREAT!
Note: Can't wait to see what the "First Federation Space" developements you "all" have on tap!
I agree. Just rolled a Caitian about a week ago. I loved AOY, and would have played it again if I could have chosen Caitian. But the four standard choices are BORING.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

Faction restriction unlock
Player housing
More events
Content that presents challenge and rewards overcoming it
Closely related would be a concept familiar to players of WoW among others: weapon reskinning.
This is a good idea, and can even lead into a dedicated PvP rep, as detailed here.
