Allow the U.S.S. Prefix to be removed on all fed ships

Yeah, I know some can and some can't. And on Mirror ships you can even get the I.S.S. prefix. But come on PWE. Let us take the USS prefix off if we don't want it on our ships.

My Fed sci captain is a mirror captain(even has the mirror outfits and her tier 6 vesta is colored in mirror). Allow me to yank the U.S.S. prefix off. Please? Sugar on top?

    Putting the ISS prefix into the legacy part of the C-Store would work at the same price of the NX prefix

      If a ship supports the MU paintjob it needs to have the MU prefix. If it doesn't it's an oversight.​​

      It's not like that. I didn't use an actual mirror ship. I just gave the ship the most mirror looking paint job I could with the paint schemes available.

      But still I'd like to be able to turn the USS prefix off if I could.

      finding a mirror pattern isn't allt hat hard...just find the ones that cover the most surface area and make it red - or yellow if, like me, you prefer the CANON TE colors

      but that lack of ISS REALLY kills things​​

      Ah, I see. Well, I'd say there's no harm in putting the prefix in the c-store, but if Cryptic wanted to do that they probably had done so already. And I don't know why they stopped making mirror ships for the lockboxes so every ship type had a chance at getting a MU version...​​

      Yes, allow no-prefix on all ships.

      And up the ship name limit to 40 letters like literally every other nameable thing in the game.

      This i mean the ISS prefix would generate alot more cash then the NX prefix.

      alot of people role play as terrans this would be a nice addition.

      I'm an advocate of adding MU prefixes and skins to the C-Store for all ships.

      I would love to see this, but probably be considered "too expensive" to complete.​​

      Well guys... the lockbox Mirror Ships still unlock mirror skins for all associated ships. I can have a Mirror Skin on the T6 Archon Assault Cruiser, T6 Morrigu Warbird, or even the T6 Negh'Tev.

      No, because they are not Mirror ships. Kinda like how a lot of the newer Romulan ships cannot use the IRW prefix, as they were never used by the Romulan Star Empire.

      I wouldn't say no to that. I mean it wouldn't be too difficult as we have the charity Mirror Guardian that has Command seating instead of Intel. While you can't really do that with the Archon unless you go Pilot, I can see that as a possibility with other ships.

      Wouldn't mind seeing that either. Although if any were T6 they might have to be somehow inferior to or different enough from C-Store versions to avoid having people go for those over C-Store. I think the charity Mirror Guardian not only has Command seating, but a different trait as well. Also doesn't have a fleet variant.

      I'd like both prefix removal on all ships across all factions, and C-Store I.R.W./I.S.S. unlocks.

      No reason they shouldn't allow it now that we have KDF/Roms flying Fed ships like the Eternal 'justified' as some future united whatever, or all factions flying 'alien' enemy ships.

      It's also a role playing game, meaning silly little things like prefixes should not be overlooked and neglected.

      I would support the removal of USS from ships, as I would like to do that with some of my older ships. I would also support putting IRW/ISS prefix unlocks in the C-Store like the NX prefix is.
      Now a LTS and loving it.
      Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
      I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

        Having no prefix on Starfleet ships might go against Cryptic's contract with CBS as it is a very prominent part of the appearance of Starfleet. I'd oppose to remove it from those ships to simply not have a non-starfleet affiliated Galaxy Class with a S.S. prefix flying around. However, the mirror prefix should come either with new mirror ships of the same type or be a purchase in the store as none of it breaks established rules and since we can dress up in mirror there is no reason we can't barbie the whole ship in mirror.

        I would however like the prefix be optional on every non-faction ship period. Because it allows us to barbie/rp the minor races we don't get to play regularily.​​

        I wouldn't mind if they would not count that prefix as part of the name length.
