1. An option to display Normal/Advanced/Elite on separate lines like before
2. Ability to queue for multiple difficulty levels of the same queue at the same time
3. The cooldowns display
4. That window that shows state and timeout for waiting players to accept the queue/waiting map transfer like before, so you're not surprised the map transfer pops while you're doing something else
5. An "All" category tab
6. The ability to join a queue with a double-click (or even better, ditch the checkbox and put a one-click "join this queue" button there instead)
7. The ability to join or leave queues independently, instead of being required to leave all queues and then rejoin with new selections
8. Ability to start private queues with no minimum player requirement
9. "Favorites" and/or "Recently played" category tabs to quickly find favorite queues
10. Option to remember what other queues you are in when starting one and ask to rejoin the others after the first one is finished
1. This would just bloat the list like the old one was. Which was one of the biggest complaints about the old list, and is why the various difficulties were placed in a drop down menu, and why it makes no sense to change that.
2. Why on earth would you be queuing for the same queue on multiple difficulties, especially when people are play 99% of them on ANY difficulty in the first place?
3. Are people really so thoughtless they cant figure out that if they did a queue at noon yesterday, they shouldn't do it again until at least 8 the next day, to account for the 20 hour daily cooldown? Especially when most people just play CCE, or Borg RAs, to get most marks, you really shouldn't have ANY problems at all remembering when the last time you did something was.
4. That window was one of the singular most annoying screen space wasters ever. It literally shouldn't be there. Stop trying to take up precious screen real estate because your are too thick skulled to remember you queued for something.
5. Again, that would just result in the same complained about list bloat as before.
6. The check box system helps prevent players from accidentally double clicking, and joining a queue they didn't want to. Something I saw happen to people many times.
7. Why did you join the queue in the first place if you are now leaving it? Especially with the click box system making it impossible to accidentally join a queue? If its because it isn't popping, why does it matter since it wont be selected the moment you join a queue that is?
8. There is no reason to start a queue without a minimum player count unless you are trying to exploit the game in some way. Most MMOs don't let you play content designed for a team of 5 or 10 unless you have that team size.
9. Given how sorted everything is, is this really necessary when you could reach those same queues in the same amount of time as it would take to click on a "recently played" tab, by simply clicking on the tab they are already under?
10. This would be a valid suggestion if it didn't result in the obvious problem of people getting thrown into a queue chain where one will pop the moment they leave the last one.
Posts like this make me wonder do ppl posting them even play the game themselves. Things warpangel pointed out were perfectly reasonable.

The ques still seem empty..Perhaps as some mentioned elsewhere in the forums a rotational que? The new UI still has flaws though..The competitive PvE is not all that good cause it ends in almost quick time or there are some times where the puzzels takes time due to cordination with others in the team in core assault..
To restore previous level of functionality it needs:
And of course fixing the bugs so it actually does what it's supposed to, but that goes without saying.
To restore the previous level of convenience, it would also need:
6. The ability to join a queue with a double-click (or even better, ditch the checkbox and put a one-click "join this queue" button there instead)
7. The ability to join or leave queues independently, instead of being required to leave all queues and then rejoin with new selections
And then to make it even better than it was before, it could have:
8. Ability to start private queues with no minimum player requirement
9. "Favorites" and/or "Recently played" category tabs to quickly find favorite queues
10. Option to remember what other queues you are in when starting one and ask to rejoin the others after the first one is finished
I was an avid PUGger, but the new queue UI has pushed me back to pre-mades. The PPS (if that's what's causing teams to "skip" me) is also really annoying. I've seen queues fill up and appear to "pop" for other teams (go from full to 0 queued in an instant) up to 6 times in a row over 10 minutes. It's easier to just hop into a pre-made.
Yeah had some major issues today getting into "popular" queues like CCA and the new competitive PVE.
In one instance the game dropped 4 queue groups in a row, despite there being barely any other players queuing (according to the UI at least). The game fly-by messages kept saying it was down to declines from players but i never saw any change in the number queued.
Eventually the popup to accept appeared again and i didn't even get a chance to kick accept before it beamed me up to start!
So half the time it drops/kicks/stalls trying to make a queue pop, and the other half it starts you with zero warning or option to decline.
It has to be one of the least intuitive systems I've seen in STO or in fact any MMO. And it's certainly one of the most bug-ridden areas of STO right now.
It really is putting me off playing the game I'm afraid to say, I'm sure I won't be the only one.
Just a friendly reminder to keep the PvP in-game, folks.

Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.
I like the old queues page of cooldown timers.
I would like a page that shows countdown to when mark bonus's are available for each mark type.
I hate the new UI's ability to just warp you out whenever it see's fit, then decides to ask you to enter the event.
I hate that after asking you to accept entrance into an event, it sometimes doesn't launch and puts you back into the queue knowing full well you cannot abandon the event since you've already been matched.
Tho queueing by reward may be convienent for some, I'de like the option to see the full list of events.
I'de like to see how many are playing an event, as well as how many are waiting to play that event.
I'de like to queue for different difficulties of the same event, at the same time.
It's been two weekends now and I have to say still very unhappy with the UI. It is harder to get into more then one queue at a time, queues take noticeably longer when you do queue up, it is much harder to tell if your close to the begining (should l load into a new star system or transwarp? and risk missing the start), start up (pregame chat) still sucks (new channel apprecated but requires more work, i.e. its not used) and teaming is harder.
Have to agree with one of the previous responders, I am now alot more likly to wait for a group rather then a pug, and when I do pug I can normally reset crafting, admiralty, and doffs and then just log off to the next alt before a pug pops.
If the goal was to make the the new UI more shiny but less functional then mission accomplished.
I have been logged into 5 different space pve missions for 15 minutes now, nothing happens. The most common missions are less and less played. I didn´t read the last hundered postings here but pls, change to the old pve list. The new list is absolutely illogical and unfunctional. We´re losing more and more players every day. Stop changing those essential important things without asking the community! Damn it...
OK. Let's try this again. Keep it friendly and on topic, folks. Cryptic is looking for honest, constructive feedback here. If you happen to not be experiencing any issues with the topic, great, but some players are. Squabbling here only distracts and detracts from the issues at hand. Let's keep the PvP in-game and off the forum.

1. Because then you can see which of the three you have queued for, perhaps all three, leading to...
2. Because you may hope to play elite but have limited time for that queue to pop, so selecting advanced as well gives a more likely chance you will at least be able to play one of them, also others looking to queue will see that some folks are queued for elite and therefore are more likely to choose elite themselves knowing their own wait time will be consequently lower.
3. This is not about being thoughtless, the CD list was one of the most welcome small additions, with so many queues it's useful to be able to quickly check if your 30 min wait is up for a queue group being requested in fleet chat rather than think it's over, join the team and find our you'd miscalculated and you prevent the team from queueing.
4. Totally disagree, it allowed us to finalise any event briefings prior to beginning the queue. You could minimise it anyway if you needed to see something else.
5. Why would it bloat it? You don't have to use it, it's handy sometimes to see everything just in case there's some event you hadn't thought of to queue for.
6. I don't mind either system here.
7. The problem is that the system has you queued for things you are not aware of, this is part of the bug that's preventing teams from running anything.
8. Not true, in ESO you can choose to enter a Vet Dungeon alone if you're crazy enough, but I often enter normal dungeons alone because I can normally finish them by myself. The issue in STO is that whilst it's easy enough to get two or three, perhaps four people, that fifth one can be difficult to find and most queues can easily be completed with three or four.
9. Why not? A favourites tab is a great idea imo, no reason to criticise this suggestion.
10. A simple timer would prevent what you're suggesting here.
It seems that all you wanted to do was criticise, unfairly imo, a great list of improvements, I don't see any suggestions from you how to improve it.
The above list by @warpangel is constructive and I personally think very useful and more importantly is a list of adding choices, your negative response is all about removing choices. You list was useful in making me think about warpangel's list more critically but now I have I am convinced it's more or less spot on.
Have to agree with all of this, particularly point 2 about joining multiple difficulties of the same map to get the first one to pop in a limited amount of playing time. I find myself doing that fairly often. And this also ties into point 7 as the playing time limit drops and one queue which takes 10 minutes is completable by me and another that takes 20 isn't so it's time to dequeue the 20 minute map and preferably *only* the 20 minute map (particularly given the steps the new UI needs to enter multiple queues).
And jumping to point 3 and the cooldown timer... I often cycle between my alternates doing DOff and Admiralty assignments. When all of those are filled and if I have time I can queue up for some marks. It's more a question for me of which of the several alternates have run which mission types already (it's easier to loose track of that than one character working on one mark type) and that timer was a great method of verification to keep me from spending time better spent somewhere else.
Warpangel's list addresses some of the things that I really dislike about the new UI and I would only add one more thing: the ability to see those queues/difficulties that I am queued up for on one page, much more useful than button text like 'join n queues'.
It takes sometimes a full 20 minutes to get a binary circuit advanced to pop up to join. It's gotten to where it's not worth it, I play normal now, but even those take a long time considering this is a new que. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just my bad luck?

1) You can no longer queue for 2 sets of difficulty of the same instane;
2) Often you're being warped without a hail first;
3) Unless you undo it all first, you can't add another queue;
4) There's no way to see what things you're queued for, unless you individually inspect them all (which defeats the entire purpose of an overview).
