I have tried the breach twice this afternoon and there appears to be a barrier after the entry door. Neither of the missions were able to reach the interior of the Voth ship. Is anyone else having this problem?
Hey guys - we're aware of this issue and are shutting off access to the Breach while we fix it. We'll also be extending the event by one day.
Cool, thanks for the heads up.
I just tried it a few min ago, and was having the same issue. I'll wait until you guys give the 'Ok' before trying again. Thank you for looking into it.

An in game message would be nice to those who don't lurk here or are not social media savvy.
Doesn't matter how they do it, alot of people will still not read it.

If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Cost me a 2 hour penalty yesterday when I ran into this issue. - Right now the Breach is not available in game. Hope they fix it soon. Only have so much time available to play STO and my time for today is running out.
What happened to those unique forum ranks I paid for?

If you aren't able to get to it today, the event has been extended by a day, so at least you won't lose your chance.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I did wonder why I couldn't access it after the maintenance- it also means those lucky enough to get the new dreadnought won't be able to show off their shiny new ship just yet
Effing finally TEST your changes BEFORE you roll them out. Every software company worth their name has a well-oiled QA department exactly for this. Yet you, Cryptic, keep breaking game content whenever you touch anything. And no, "employing" your (paying) customers to do that for you for free (usually, AFTER you roll things out) is not a solution.
I love it when people talk about things they clearly have no understanding about. Always gives me a giggle.
While some bugs are small and easy to miss, this one should have been spotted with a single quick test run of the PvE. Would have taken max 2 minutes to verify that there was a bug with the change done.

cklib is right, check your code. and with a mission as small as the breach that should have been simple. you can build more complex missions in the creation kit, play test them and publish them with zero issues...and those are people doing it for free. and somehow cryptic can't do the same in something far simpler? who's the one that doesn't understand here? evidently you think level creation is some kind of mystical process when even players in this game create content for the game...with far more complexity.

Just be patient. The event is going to be extended by one day. That mean they have until tomorrow to put in the patch. Otherwise Cryptic would need to further extend the event.

Not sure how asking if there's a timeline requires a "Just be patient." Not throwing a fit, not calling names, not demanding a refund (of who knows what), just asking a question that, if we get an answer, will be harder to find with non-answer posts like yours.
Editde to Add* after @rattler2 made their post: Yes, I realize that there might not be a solid timeline yet. 'Tis why I asked if there was one, and why I didn't demand a time. Again, further responses to the question that aren't actually answering the question are potentially obscuring the answer to the question.
*so as not to clutter down-thread even further. To make another post would be defeating the purpose of my response.

Its possible there is no firm timeline. So honestly the only real answer that can be given is to be patient.

I have a Masters degree in Computer Science and have worked in the software development business for almost 20 years. I daresay it is you who lacks understanding.

Diploma or not, honestly I have to disagree with anyone who sounds like they know how things "should be". MMOs are constantly evolving beasts of code. No MMO is ever going to be bug free. New Code not playing well with Old Code and such stuff.
Best example is whenever they would fix something, the Borg would break in STFs. A lot of people remember the Emergency Power to Engines fiasco with the Spheres turning into bullets. They popped EPtE, and they were GONE like they jumped to warp.

They rushed a fix on something that didn't need to be fixed in a rush.
Well, it did need to be fixed because people pushing into the door at full speed when it exploded were getting stuck every so often in some evil invisible wall. Happened to me the first day, and a player in a pug 3 days ago. On the other hand, this could have been handled better since QA only needed to spend a minute rushing the map to hit this bug.

Not just the door, the whole map is riddled with holes. The same holes that were there the last time the event ran (which people exploited like mad), and probably all the way back to when the queue was first launched.

Good reaction time, thanks. Never thought the Voth would pull a Gandalf like that.
