"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

Yes please. I would suggest that the arena be available year-round (with the actual event and its special rewards occurring every so often, ala Crystalline Cataclysm). Further, as I recall noting elsewhere, this would be a perfect venue for a form of indirect competition if there are leaderboards for waves survived and clear time (sorted by solo, duo, etc.)...
Now, while this is all well and good, I would remind the relevant persons that there needs to be some way to make various other queues appealing again. Why have we not, for instance, seen a 'Ground Pounder' weekend event with the payouts for all ground queues increased by 50%?
nice, it will be a fine swansong for my engineering kitty.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
I knew this was coming since they can't leave us 1 single day without some event lately. Anniversary event is almost done and Lukari rep maxing is 2 weeks away or less. Now that I got that out of my chest, this is ground NWS, so it should be interesting. Then again, I think I can work my way around this with the right crew. Will have to search for ground combat heroes.
It may actually be beneficial to have premade teams with assigned roles. Huge fan of ground combat so i will definitely give this a try.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I'll give it a shot at least once, just so I can say I tried it.
However, this serves as an apology, in advance, to anyone I end up teamed with.
I'm not some nimble fingered, lightning quick reflexes, plays the game every waking moment, max geared machine. I am a guy with medical issues that prevents me from being a nimble fingered, lightning quick reflexes, plays the game every waking moment, max geared machine.
That said, I'll do my best.
If *I* make it to round 10, I'll be utterly shocked. Unless the difficulty level is extremely low.
Hello. My name is iamynaught and I am an altaholic.
It's time to lay the ground cheese shenanigans on thick for this one. Might actually have to spend some dil to get my tac the right UR MK XIV gear for this level of hurt.
Yep ever since salami took over as EP and mostly new staff they've been pumping lots of Klingon content we've wanted for so long. Will without a doubt be playing this event its like what they call the KDF hardliners dream
I'm not a big fan of ground either. And I'm on a crappy computer so if I try this I'll likely hinder any team I'm on. So I'll likely pass. Unless my good computer gets fixed this week.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
I will say to @tacofangs , please make sure there are no lighting issues with this map. Seems the newer content is made with Lighting 2.0 taken into consideration and those of us who can't turn it on because of frame rate issues get either shadows or very darkened figures. Happens in K-13 and the Klingon contact in the TF PvE map.

Any juicy rewards? Epic MKIV Bat'leth with unique skin? Cool Outfit Options?

I may try this once, but personally I'm not sure this would be my cup of tea.
"No matter where you go...there you are."
No, seriously, can we get an idea of kind of rewards we can get as marks and non-marks?

Or Boom Boom time... if I take my engineer. What's the best way to describe the sound of fire?
Anyway, this should be fun. I hope we get an interesting reward too. I'm thinking special MACO uniforms

Losing faith in humanity, one person at a time.
this is so close to accurate sounding it hurts!
My first thought was that it was PvP. Shame it isn't. It'd be really great for Fed vs. KDF combat.
