This is Eng is going to hit 100 because I can. Just need to team up with my peeps from DPS-400 and DPS-800.
Just got to wave 58 with a pretty good 4 man team. 100 should be possible, but they should add a potty break time at level 50.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I think the timing code needs a serious review.
I did four runs, two of which had minimal pauses between waves, the third one only slight pauses and rarely.
The 4th one however, complete mishagas. At least 5-10 minutes between waves. At one point, there was enough enough time to hold a dance party while waiting for the next wave.
Then the last wave took so long to arrive, we got instantly KOed because nobody was expecting it. We think that was intentional possibly, get our guard to drop and then hit us with the Tholian Captain right where we are standing!
One thing I am wondering about and didn't think to check before logging off, do enemy defeats in here count towards Accolades?
My Starfleet Captains got in some Starfleet defeats, which they couldn't normally do.

Would have made it to damn close to 100 last night on a SCI toon but my power wnet out just as we hit 76. ad cause I didnt get the rewards but no fault o fmy own. Stupid tree branch took power down for over 400 people in my area. GRRRR DAMN YOU TREES!
Switch out the Klingons for Rebel Klingons next time so we at least have 1 semi useful way (not that good, but better than The Undying) in this game to get those ground kill accolades.
Passing round four in the arena will grant Captains a voucher once per day that can be applied toward a special reward: The Sompek Lightning Universal Kit Module. This powerful module calls down the Arena lightning strike for captains in the field!
My AoY Captain did not get a voucher on her first try at this. The PUG was far above round 4. In fact we saw round 36 before we were all defeated.
@zedbrightlander1
Had you done this mission on any other character before using your AOY character?
The voucher is per account, not per character.
Since you said it was the character's first try, cooldown shouldn't be an issue, but generally, you have to allow 20 hours to elapse between attempts.
Unless you did it on another character the previous day.
But really, you shouldn't use more then one character for reasons other then fun or Accolades, as you may not meet the three token requirement on 1 character only before it ends.

Had a blast binging on it all weekend, top lucky pug L110 falling to acid spam of Bug Queen, another L70+ pre-made team, and most recent a L61 pre-made falling to Heralds but with 1 team member down entire match due to D/C and inability to rejoin, after a huge team rez playing as sci tank/healer/debuffer with 2 tacs 1 engi, being left with entire tray on cool-down running frantically to buy time in the wrong corner filled with 2 bosses and more portals. Event totally reminded me of a certain other popular online team-based game but this time in its own unique STO format as MMO PvE with tons of customizations, powers, and many map types in the best sci fi universe.
In more than one of the PUGs that I played, there was an ENG who used Mines. Throughout those instances, we saw a direct correlation between when the Mines went away and the next round starting. The game seemed to count Friendly Mines as Enemy Troops Still Alive so would not start the next round until the last Mine "died."
This is partially corroborated in another PUG where no one used Mines. Rounds in that instance followed one-right-after-the-other, with no time breaks in between.
Other Friendly constructs such as Shield/Medical Fabrications, Turrets, Mortars, Force Field Domes, and Cover Shields did not appear to introduce delays between rounds. These were use in both PUGs above.
I really enjoyed this event and am hopeful we'll see it again. This is something that I ran with all of my alts both as a way to test my different ground builds, and to get the accolades of course. Adding in corresponding higher mark rewards per level plus offering the Sompek Lightning module as an account reward were nice touches as well. Nicely done STO, nicely done.

I am looking forward for another Arena. It was fun. We got to round 85 and I crashed out due to software issue. Although I didn't get any reward, I got the accolade, the worthy, passed round 70.
Does anyone know when this event will come around again?
Unknown, but other similar events are roughly on a bi annual schedule so that would make it between September and November.

It's a little inconsistent. My first team took forever between rounds, but the second time I did it, it was quick.
