Lol, I'm with you there. Maybe they'll get useful data from the teams that quickly destroy the PvE. Seems the devs couldn't since they got stuck at round 36 during QA from what I read.
The Rising of the Delta is the best expansion ever, and people love it to death because it is a good day to die in the endless struggle for supremacy of your own conviction. (A spin off of the Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and all the players love it.)

I'm not sure where you read that, but that is definitely not a true statistic.

Done plenty of foundry on elite difficulty from the ground wave variety so it may be interesting to see how this arena handles things. Perhaps the setup for the arena on nimbus?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
null It would be great if they'd add the ability to craft melee weapons in the Ground R&D school. An epic mkXIV [crtd]x3 [pen] bat'leth would be, well, epic...
Maybe they could add Worf's dual wielding Mek'leths or Sulu's rapier. Speaking of which...
And before anyone jumps at a number with their usual fury, this is the "office record" presumably from general office playtesting. Who knows what QA got up to over the course of development.
Bipedal mammal and senior Foundry author.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!

I bet they got to 100 using dev powers since they have to test the whole thing. The day I see a dev hold his own weight in an in-game PvP match, I'll believe they can do it without dev cheats.
1. Will the prizes be worth it? I mean can we get something more tangible? Say the unreleased Honor guard Bat'leth? And the other Honor Guard, M.A.C.O and Omega armors that were never released.
2. What about unique outfits. I see all the high end FED ones that cost an are and a leg in Dil to get. But when will the Klingons get theres? I would love to wear Chancellor Gorkon's outfit or General Chang's from ST6. When you folks Develop these new things for us to do. Please make the rewards worth the time it would take to earn them.
3. And for the love of Kahless please fix the Elite Fleet dual disruptor pistols.

How about a fancy title and an accolade for your troubles?
I would have figured that a "Bug Hunter" would have payed attention to the last item on the list. Instead of the first. God forbid someone who's looks for bugs and reports them still has not seen to have the devs fix that. But no matter.

I don't use either of my KDF toons regularly or would buy Fleet weapons for them, so I have no idea what that bug is about. Having said that, I do have a fleet disruptor ground weapon on my Fed toon because I got it before they locked types to factions.
Now I have a reason to buy the "The Gamesters of Triskelion" clothes...
Captain James T. Kirk: We're free people. We belong to no one.
Provider #2: Such spirit. I wager fifteen qualtoos that he is untrainable.
Provider #3: Twenty quatloos that all three are untrainable.
Provider #2: Five thousand quatloos that the newcomers will have to be destroyed.

No what I am talking about is a pair of special pistol Mesh's that got replaced with sniper rifle ones. The Kdf and Fed fleets both get an exclusive set of unique looking Phaser {FED} and Disruptor weapons when a fleet starbase Engineering hits full T3. The Feds look Silver,Black and Blue while the KDF look Black,Green and Gold. All of the Elite Fed weapons are fine and most of the KDF are ok too. Except the Dual Pistols they were replaced with The Elite Sniper rifle instead. It looks like your toon is walking around with crutches and unless your an 8 foot tall Gorn...well let's just say people stopped using then because there are no devs who gave a hoot to sit down and fix the problem. 5 years later it is still not done. Now the Devs finally give us a place and time of the new PvP event. A place for fleets to show off their well earned gear. A place where people will be asking "Where did you get that?" How would you like to be the dude who gets made fun of? Or laughed at? All I am saying dude is pop into Tribble and take a look at it and see if you can light a fire under someone's butt to get this fixed.

When I saw Ground, I smiled and started polishing my TR-116.
It's got to look nice and shiny for when I start shooting at enemy NPCs!
That being said, I expect this to be a zergrush nightmare with low chance of success.
10 waves would be as much as anyone should anticipate, 100, we're talking Kobayashi Maru levels of success, only far less certain.
The only context I have is Mass Effect multiplayer and there, round 20-21 was about as far as we got before the increasing enemy difficulty ended the match.
I haven't tested it personally, but I am rather glad they didn't use this for a PvP event.
Because there may be a daily task for getting a special reward tied to this event.
You should never tie rewards to an event where serious PvPers will annihilate casual players who just came for the daily currency/prizes and don't get it because they keep getting defeated all the time.

Couldnt agree more just another missed chance for some good PvP combat.

10, 000 Quatloos that there will be a board full of complaints about this Event.

I mean, you can't lose betting that someone will complain about something game related. It's one of the surest things in the galaxy.

Where is Sulu anyway?
Someone in the FB post.
Achievement unlocked "The dev finder" - Brought a dev out of hiding. Not seen on these parts since June 2016.
Salami Inferno says otherwise.

This sounds awesome! Now I have a few questions.

Wow..they should have used that Arena instead!
