This is what happens if we're too nice and happy with our CM.
Quick, let's say mean things about ambassadorkael.
"ambassadorkael doesn't know the difference between a pre-ganglionic fibera and a post-ganglionic nerve."
Let's hope she finds a new, cool and well paid job soon.
He also can't stop the heterocyclic declination! We need a molecular biologist in here, stat!
I....I....get the cheese to sick bay!
I, for one, am going to miss Trendy like hell. Interacting with her every day was one of the highlights of my week. Luckily, I still get to see her every week in our tabletop game, but she's amazing and anyone who hires her is going to be lucky.
By the title of this thread it sounded like Morrigan past away, she was just a young woman!
If she fed-up quit i hope she finds something worthy of her and makes her happy. If she got fired that sucks and she probably didnt deserve it cause she was a hard worker, and i feel her pain.
IDK why people are saying she did a good job, as none of the CM's seem to actually answer relevant questions like "why is the console anniversary event apparently a bug" or actually answering any question that isn't "when do we get a new shiny ship that costs $ that the devs can use to do everything but actually work on the game?"

That question isn't even proper English (or, rather, it's just gibberish), let alone that it could be answered properly at all.
"when do we get a new shiny ship that costs $ that the devs can use to do everything but actually work on the game?"
Belatedly taking out your frustration with the game on Trendy, rather tacky, don't ya think?! Trendy answered those kind of questions the best way she knew how: by completely ignoring them. Kudos on her!

Because it is? "Why is it a bug?" isn't really a question that should be asked. From what I can tell AmbassadorKael has said that the anniversary event is coming soon for consoles.
or actually answering any question that isn't "when do we get a new shiny ship that costs $ that the devs can use to do everything but actually work on the game?"
BTW, Kael is equally unhelpful.
I'm not exactly sure which devs don't work on the game. I find it pretty implausible that there are devs who clock in 5 days a week and just spin around in their office chairs in their cubicles for 8-12 hours. Which isn't to say that I think Cryptic is doing everything perfectly, as I do have very real and genuine concerns about their levels of quality control the past year or so which have been specifically mentioned point-by-point in other threads.
Furthermore, a Community Manager doesn't have access (at best), or permission (at worst) to publish where STO's budget is allocated. You'll scarcely find a video game studio who is willing to publish that information, not just Cryptic.
It seems to me you are either unaware of what a Community Manager actually does, what they have information pertaining to, or what permission they may have to publish that information (as many companies of Non-Disclosure Agreements for sensitive information).
Kael has not been here long enough for me to adequately form an opinion on his performance, but I think it's a bit unrealistic to expect him to conform to your own personal standards of what a CM should be, when those standards are not considered the "norm" in the video game industry on the whole.
I would, however, encourage you to continue posting your criticism and concerns in other parts of the STO forums where they can more easily be read. The game can only improve if there are players willing to list detailed descriptions of the problems they're having, rather than making vague generalizations and hoping Cryptic knows what they're talking about.

I will never understand why any console player would think they would have an anniversary event less than 6 months after launch ... "apparently a bug" is an incorrect statement, "obviously a bug" would be more like it. Things like that don't even need an explanation, just proper usage of that thing that sits on top of your neck.
Now, when the gold Ferengi ship was released Trendy did respond to a few tweets about it (and revealed that the CMs were not informed of the pending email promotion), said she would try and find out some more info, and eventually we got the "sorry, can't tell you why" response from someone else. I suspect at this point she was probably told not to discuss it anymore, but it did seem, to me at least, that she was genuinely trying to get us answers when that went down.
As I always said, executives and managers are bean counters who think they are intelligent and talented, when they are actually not, and won't listen to anyone with better ideas.
Going to be interesting who they gonna have replace her....probably some monkey with the IQ of a potted plant, someone they won't consider as a "trouble maker", I bet.
I think they switched to plastic potted plants, then hired a new watering service for them.

The way Trendy's twitter posts came off - I think she was surprised to be let go to say the least.

Well, find me in the Alps. If they really did fire her, as far as I care, these miserable cows can have a fancy barbeque, with a g*d*** pig!
I hope she lands on her feet and does well wherever she goes.

Um, Branflakes was the one who moved on from PWE. He wanted to be closer to where his family lived.
