The Undiscovered Lockbox gives Star Trek Online Captains on PC access to the ships and technology of the TOS feature films.

    Full steam ahead for the TWoK theme now (well other than the dil locked costumes anyway :( ) Odd though the rifle dosn't look like this...

    Yay, the gates have opened, the NX-Refit is upon us!


    I like how stubby and smooth the late 23rd century ships are compared to the NX. :)

    Unless I missed something, there's no T5 booby-prize ship. I gave up long ago hoping for one of the 'grand prize' ships when I open lockboxes, so I've always looked more forward to the T5-U's they usually have.

    Bummer.

    Oh well, only 3 more months until the next lockbox is upon us, perhaps there will be one then.

    At least, I hope they haven't done away with giving us new T5's that can be upgraded.

    ... my favorite ships just keep being restricted to single character unlocks ... first the Excalibur, and now the NX ... if I were to say how I really feel about this company right now I would be banned

    Farm EC and buy one off the exchange? I never understand why people go, "oh it's out of my reach because it's from a lockbox". It's not, save up and buy one from someone who used keys.

    This lockbox looks really promising! I love the tier 6 ships and the other goodies in this box. I really like the pistols and the Klingon dreadnought is my favorite ship, with this lockbox set of ships. The Romulan and Federation one does look pretty cool as well! I am glad the NX Refit is a lobi ship so its a little more accessible!

    As a die hard TWOK era fan this lockbox is a huge disappointment. Those are TOS ships.

    I wish these were offered in the store instead of a lock box. Oh well, at least I'll make money off key sales cause gambling on boxes like this never works for me.

    I will say it's really too bad you guys couldn't work a deal with the Franz Joseph Estate and get the rights to use his design (from the Star Trek Technical Manual (circa. 1975)) for the original 3 nacelle TOS era Dreadnaught design.

    The Assault Phasers are from The Undiscovered Country, the black ones in the picture. The grey one at the top is from WoK.

    Oh my God it's a TOS version of the Command Cruisers.

    You finally did it again. You finally made a lockbox ship I want. Not since the Korrath have I lusted to lay my hands upon such an ample set of nacelles, if you'll pardon the engineering parlance.

    Damnit now I have to either spend money or pony up EC.

    EDIT: Fuuuuuudge I also want the TOS D'deridex. Fudge fudge fudge.

    It contains ships, weapons, and more which would feel right at home on the set of The Wrath of Khan, The Undiscovered Country, and all the beloved original Star Trek films.

    Its like an exploded paintpot of random ST stuff of which some is a bit canonish. Space Suit looks spot on. It all does look cool but uhh...

    Dudes, did you marketing guy/gal ever watched an ST movie? Did they sniffed the bad free coke (cola) samples at a train station again? :P

    I never said things are out of reach, I know how to save up for something I want. And what I want are more T5-U's. I've actually gotten a few of the T5-U's while opening boxes, and that's what I look forward to getting. Well, at least trying for.

    I don't count on getting anything good from lockboxes, that way I'm not disappointed when I don't. But it is nice when it happens, hence my disappointment there will seemingly be no T5-U's with this box.

    What I did say was that I gave up any hope of getting the grand prize ships from lockboxes that *I* open.

    Am I interested in these ships? Of course I am. How interested will depend on the stats.

    Will I someday own one or more of them? Possibly. Seeing how much they go for (and their stats) will determine where on my 'wish list' they will go.

    Will I be using keys for this particular lockbox? Not a chance.

    Does that mean I have no interest in this lockbox? No it doesn't. There are several items I wouldn't mind having and since others will be opening the boxes, I'll just buy them off the exchange.

    Can't argue with that as that is what I was expecting as well. It would have been nice to have a T6 Miranda or a T6 Connie Refit, T6 Enterprise A, and those ridiculously expensive Dilithium outfits too as options.
