Full steam ahead for the TWoK theme now (well other than the dil locked costumes anyway ) Odd though the rifle dosn't look like this...
@artan42 Yay, and it only took them six years to come up with it. Maybe we'll see a "TNG" lockbox with the missing TNG weapons as well
Although, Lobi and lockbox - it seems the days of the c-store are definitely over. No more pick and buy equipment, especially no play and earn equipment, just gambles. Ah well, ground weapons are usually affordable on the exchange. I hope they come with appropriate sound effects as well.

If we ever get a TNG lockbox, it better contain a T6 Ambassador!
6 months ago I would have said no chance it would be in a lockbox, definitely a c-store item ... now I'd almost be surprised if ANY new ships get added to the C-Store ... which wouldn't bother me so much if there was a way too unlock them account wide

The Ambassador is a prime timeline mainstream ship, it would probably be C-Store.
The T6 Guardian Class IS effectively a T6 Ambassador Class - they should just add the ability to use the Ambassador Class skin on the ship.

We had a new C-Store ship 2 months ago, the T6 Nebula + Rom/KDF variants. Don't give up so fast, wow.
Hm this is the most underwhelming lock box I've ever seen... and I have been pretty enthusiastic about most, but as of late I find the contents becoming less interesting.
The Lobi uniforms get less and less customisation options and there's no kit modules in this box it seems... even though we have a kit module R&D school coming up.
I might pick up one of those Phaser weapons, always liked blue phasers and maybe a pet. Well, at least I can keep saving Zen and EC then
My biggest question is do we have to use the secondary hull on the NX variant, because if no then I'd be more inclined to get it sooner instead of just waiting
Let us upgrade the Seleya Ceremonial Lirpa and Kri'stak Blade

Thomas said the NX is customizable in a reddit post so i will guess a big no in having to use the secondary hull. Also super excited for this box while i do not mind the dreads my real want are those phasers for my T6 Connie as well as the T6 NX
Additionally, the Undiscovered Lock Box has new Ground and Space weapons within the Undiscovered Phaser Weapons Pack. This box contains two advanced Phaser technologies developed during the late 23rd Century -- Pulse Phasers and Assault Phasers. Each ahead of their time, Pulse Phasers are devastating space weapons, while Assault Phasers were used by strike teams in the final years of the 23rd Century. Each of these weapon types share the Phaser Transfer characteristic, giving them a chance to reduce their target's damage resistance while simultaneously increasing your own. Opening this pack will give a choice between a random Beam, Cannon, or Ground Weapon.

That makes me think it's possible you might be able to use the regular NX skin if you own that ship at least. But I doubt they've updated that model but the Connie refit skin still looks awful and you can use it on the tier 6 TOS connie.
They take their solemn duties very, very seriously.

Are we going to get a bracket around TOS now? Ships from the post TOS movie years at one end, then a tie-in to the era before TOS for the new Star Trek: Discovery series.

So - not sure why the blog posting talks so much about the TMP-era stuff when its only the ground items from there that are in the box! The rest is just a mish-mosh of random TRIBBLE from all over the place. It's like they looked at their current existing in-game assets and said "what can we monetize and throw in there?" The "Undiscovered Lockbox" is a misnomer. It should be called "Random Star Trek Stuff" lockbox.
Huh. I was thinking it was the precursor to the Excelsior. Especially since it is the "Undiscovered Lockbox".
It kinda still could be? You could retroactively headcanon it so that this design was sort of a precursor to what led to the Excelsior, and the modern Command Cruiser classes were based on what worked about this design that didn't wind up rolled into the Excelsior.
My headcanon that I just made up - The old TOS era design style when arranged in that configuration couldn't properly cope with the stresses of warp geometry. Modern SIF technology coupled with better warp geometry design allowed Starfleet engineers to take advantage of the good aspects of this layout, so when they were tasked to design a cruiser specifically for fleet coordination and an imposing presence, they returned to the Prototype Dreadnaught design (hence why it's called a prototype, as it never saw full production!). Obviously Temporal design tech has allowed them to make even more advanced ships that retain the oldschool look, hence their resurgence.
@artan42 It looks like the Typhoon Class!!!!... but not as cool as the Typhoon!
Thank you for indirectly admitting the Command Cruisers are just updated Typhoons. Too many fanboys are too willfully ignorant to see it. Whether or not it's an improvement is subjective, but you can't just tell me it's not a Typhoon when it clearly is.

^so much this^
hopefully they'll at least ninja in a new skin for the connie refit or something
It's LOBI!!!!!
I have spent the last seven weeks scrabbling together every credit and crystal I could, expecting a promo pack NX.... AND IT'S LOBI!!!!
All that and a Fez too....
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
*ahem*
Sorry about that...
You DO know that people post Lobi ships on the exchange too right?

Anyone want to give me a Temporal Heavy Dreadnought pack? I'll be your friend

Jesus so disappointed
Ummm, that was the point of saving 850M EC . I'm just over the moon that it'll be going for 300M or so on the exchange rather than 750M.
Your post made it sound like you were disappointed or something. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Huh. I was thinking it was the precursor to the Excelsior. Especially since it is the "Undiscovered Lockbox".
Also, that Klingon ship looks strange. Something about the nacelles and the wings seems off.
Also,
TWOK Phaser, guys! TWOK Phasers!
It's the item I'm most excited about. Can't believe it's tier 6 and in the Lobi store.

It looks cartoony to me
Hope I can get that NX soon.
