Comparing the Arbiter to other cruisers in raw damage is going to come down on the side of the Arbiter- that extra tactical focus is a boost to the battlecruiser. How does the Archon feel against the Guardian or the Resolute? They're probably a more fair comparsion, mechanically, and are also canon-ship based (more or less, for the Guardian)

Well i pre-ordered mine from a website on Oct 9th. Now they are sold out. I would hope they honor their pre-orders in the order they were received. It would be mighty BS if they shut me out.
Not to beat a dead horse, but Starfleet ships should NOT have cloaking devices.
They don't have them because of a treaty with the Romulan Star Empire, which no longer exists in any meaningful way. Now that they are allied with the Romulan Republic and KDF, why wouldn't they use them?
Well just a heads up. Yesterday was the official Launch date according to the Game store here I contacted. Looks like the Run for these was under run by a lot. Other sources say the same thing. As out of the ones they ordered, they received ONE. I happened to call right as they were opening their shipment so was able to grab it before anyone else. So the Philadelphia area is pretty much sold out as I contacted every store in the City limits. They said they wont have more for about a month. I doubt they will have the code tho. So if you do grab one MAKE SURE IT HAS THE STO sticker on the box front. No sticker no code. Price was $14.95
Well I have pre-ordered it here in the UK, in good faith, so I will expect to either get the code for the ship in the pack itself, or for PWE to give me a code instead....

Correct. The Treaty of Algeron of 2310 forbade Starfleet from developing cloaking technology up until the collapse of the Romulan Star Empire by the 2390s to the early 2400s, from which, it became the Romulan Imperial Remnant, so the Treaty of Algeron was literally nullified when the Romulan Empire collapsed.
I wouldn't imagine either new T6 Assault Cruiser would come with the wide-angle quantum torpedo console as it's available on another C-Store ship. Both the new Intel and Command variants have their own new console:
Console – Universal – Incremental Phase Cloaking Device (Found on the Command Assault Cruiser [T6])
Console – Universal – Metreon Gas Warhead Launcher (Found on the Command Assault Cruiser [T6])
Still has a typo... The non-Fleet version show a Lt.CMD Universal/INTEL seat while the Fleet versions shows a Lt.CMD Universal/COMMAND seat.
Well this is getting confusing, there are 2 Fleet sovy one intel and one command,so the new one is a T6 intel ship and if i get the fleet version i need one ship module, but i don t even need one i already have it,notice there both intel right,so i have the fleet intel but din t have the regular one even if i do (i ad to kinda buy it back for the new ship trait and consol)! but that the old T6 sovy, but if i get the other one that is also a intel version,i than i need 5 ship module just because they made the T6 intel instead of a command,or the fleet command instead of a intel ship,i dont like command ship or Boof ,find intel are way better so is criptic gonna fix this anoying ship mix?But if they gonna change the T6 intel for a command i rather have my 2500 zen back because i would n by a command ship.
Just and FYI if you're considering between the Command and Intel variants..
As I suspected, players are confirming that the WhizKids Promo ship DOES NOT confer the module discount on the fleet ship. If you want to move up to the Fleet version, it will cost you 5 fleet modules.
I'm not getting either, but if I did, it would be the intel variant from the C-Store. This is a cool promo if you actually play Attack Wing, otherwise don't knock yourself out trying to find one.
Personal opinion. It's a decent Intel cruiser, but it's really just more of the same. I've got other cruisers that do the same thing with very similar bridge officer and console layouts. I only recommend this ship for players that don't have many t6 cruisers or those that love the sovereign class design.

IMO, just sticking to Fed TAC Cruisers alone, there already are superior ones than the T6 Sovereign that are more flexible and handle way better.
Vengeance
Eclipse
Arbiter
Those are the main ones. The one thing T6 Sovereign has that the others don't? It has the Sovereign model.
If you're chasing stats and performance, there's better faction ships. If you're chasing "Sovereign at T6" then she is exactly that. She's decent in that capacity, the same way the T6 Defiant was for T6 Fed Escorts. There's already superior ones (Pilot Ships), but none of them can look like the Defiant.
Actually, if you're going for the 3 piece battle cloak bonus, all you're doing is making your ship a lot weaker. Those consoles are horrible, especially that completely useless Metreon Gas Cannister console from the T5 Regent. Even the built in bonus on the Intel Sovereign isn't enough to make me keep that console on, because the active ability itself is wholly pointless.
Well it's an evolution of the Regent, that actually; i like very much, so yes, not as powerfull as other ships, but i'm happy with it, its a nice little ship

This.
Apart from finally having a T6 Sovereign, it is a bit underwhelming to say the least.
Also considering cancelling my pre-order for the Wizkids version, as I can only see using all three consoles for the battle cloak, making the ship worse..
Especially when I already have the Fleet Eclipse, that wipes the floor with it.

To be honest this ship is pretty much one of those that falls into the 'only for the skin' catergory. I.e there are better options, but none of those options are the hero ship that the players know from the series/movies.
Yeah, sadly.. once they hype dies down, this beautiful ship will sit in virtual exile with the T6 Excelsior due to it's lackluster performance. They really have a thing for making the iconic ships the worst performers.
I don't know what a "battle clock" might be, but I'm immediately convinced I must have one.
Normal cloak can only be engaged outside of battle
Battle cloak can be engaged in battle (and outside it too)
Enhaced Battle cloak can be additionaly engaged while shooting on enemy (only projectile weapons though - torpedo, mines, aceton assimilator and such)
Scimitar Battle cloak can keep shields active while cloaked
...wait a moment - you ask about "battle clock" not "cloak"?
Oh, well - the closest thing i saw was in that Girl Genius Online comics on net - very funny, light and kids-friendly (i think)
scimitar battle cloak is just a slightly better version of romulan battle cloak - it does NOT keep your shields up while cloaked without having the accompanying console equipped
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.

Yeah - when i'm saying Scimitar Battle cloak i mean the one with the console from Tulwar.
STO wiki states, that Scimitar (and other variants) have "Romulan Battle Cloak".... so there is no official "Scimitar Battle Cloak"...
I don't know what a "battle clock" might be, but I'm immediately convinced I must have one.
Good luck to anyone wanting it. From what I can gather, the WizKids pack is almost impossible to find at any retail location and are being resold at ridiculous prices on eBay.

As an authority on that sort of thing I trust your opinion on the matter implicitly. The Lukari ship vote thread misses you..
