As we have learned we will finally get a T6 Sovereign, or even two of them. From what I've seen the new model looks awesome. Looks like my Fed engineer will soon receive a new ship.
So far so good, but... whats in for Romulans and Klingons ? No idea really for Romulans, since we already have a T6 Valdore...
Edit: The Romulan ship could be the Ha'feh, the "assault warbird".
But for Klingons, yes, yes I have a pretty clear idea what I would like to get. The long overdue T6 Vor'cha.

First, I think the model really needs an update. The complete front section is a bit too boxy, the armor not as pronounced as it should be and the weapon hardpoints are at the wrong positions.
Some pictures to illustrate my points:
The studio model with the well rounded edges of the front section :
The primary disruptor in action:
beam mode:
pulse mode:
And the boxy model with the missing main disruptor we have ingame:
As one can see, the 3d model is a bit outdated compared to more recent releases. On top of that, it lacks an emitter point for it's most prominent armament.
From memory alpha:
Heavily armed, Vor'chas were mounted with a forward disruptor cannon capable of firing solid and intermittent disruptor beams, in addition to torpedoes.
Unfortunately, we don't have such a weapon ingame yet. But we have something very close to that:
sto.gamepedia.com/Protonic_Arsenal
The experimental proton weapon.
The code is already ingame for a weapon acting both as cannon as well as beam. It just needs a some slight modifications to turn it into the cannonically correct main armament of a Vor'cha.
Could form a 2 pc set with isometric charge. No 3 pc, since we don't have a T5 c-store Tor'kaht for some secret reason. (just a fleet version)
One additonal design choice is imho mandatory: a 5/3 weapon layout. That beast is made for frontal assaults, not broadsiding ! Please make it so !
Other than that I just wish for the continuation of the Tor'kaht BO layout, by upgrading the (false choice) universal Lt. slot to Lt Cmdr. I would love it as first pilot cruiser (the Sovy would have been great for that, too !). But I wouldn't mind any other spec.
Every support for this iconic Klingon design would be highly appriciated.

We do have such a weapon in game. Sort of. It's just mounted on the T5-U Tactical Bortasqu'. The Disruptor Autocannon.
It was funny back in the day PVP'ing with a DHC Bortasqu', coming out of cloaks and vaporizing Feds with APO1, CRF1, EPTW3, and the Disruptor Autocannon.
POOF!
This Bortasqu "cannon" is just a glorified CRF with long CD. The experimental proton weapon is basically a beam, with cannon rapid fire and cannon scatter volley enabled (plus beam overload and beam fire at will).
That fits the bill, a hybrid weapon, acting both as cannon and beam. If it gets the 45° targetting arc of dual heavy cannons clipping issues are avoided and it can be placed in the correct location.
And thats what I would prefer, a hybrid disruptor weapon, not a gimmick console. Preferably as good as the terran rep DHC.

D'hael/Dhaelen maybe? all of the other 'progression' Romulan ships have T6 varients ow, after all...
^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...
The idea of having a variable emission based weapon on this ship type would be quite good, though I would much rather it be of a toggle type that you can switch between it being in it's beam or cannon mode. The reason I think this is that the experimental proton weapon was part of a set that thru getting more f the et you got access to other firing modes, but if it was done in this way than maybe have it that this weapon was usable on the same ships as the quad-cannon an was part of the same set as it.
I hope so too. Vor'cha fits nicely in this supposed cross faction pack.
After reading a bit up on the matter, my guess would be the Ha'feh. It is called "Assault warbird" and lacks a T6. Assault bundle anyone ?
A set would be nice, but there is only the isometric charge on other Vor'cha variants...
Actually they have been doing rereleases of several of the older sets. But I think the Vor'cha was mostly available from the starter set and as a blind booster for events or prize ship. Can't think of any retail boosters that were Vor'chas.

Yeah I would go with the assault-cruiser bundle for the Sov, vor'cha, and the Ha'feh. While I would use the patrol escort, Dhelan, and would go with a raptor like the Qin or the Somraw Raptor in regards to a Assault-escort/raptor bundle.
Well I don't think we would have to link it to the ship specific set of the assault-cruisers, but just add it to the Quad-cannon set as a added piece that can be equipped on most other ships while also having more of a ship-specific console for the ship too. Though using the Iso charge console would be fine too, just would hope the variable-emission beam bank (just what I would call it.) would be a weapon that is not too locked to just a small degree of ships that can use it.
The Qin has a T6 already. The Qa-Tel Flight Deck Raptor. I can use Qin parts. If I get one, I'm using the Mirror Qin skin on her.

I thought it did, which is why I also put in the Somraw, which is another raptor that fits into the same concept as the patrol escort an Dhelan.
still have not seen the K'Vort
Thats usually not done by Cryptic. Sets are restricted to consoles from different variants of the same ship. See the Mogh/Kurak consoles and the Kor/Koloth ones.
I don't like the isometric charge. It is some kind of science wizardry. It looks misplaced on a battlercruiser. But its all we have to form a set.
Doesn't have to be a raptor. The Nausicaan ships fill the niche of sturdier escort/destroyer on KDF side. But we already have the Kolasi... Some Gorn or Orion love would be nice, but there are unfortunately no escort class ships from those races ingame.
Well, we got the Luna and Vesta classes... why not?
Looks interesting, but it did take a lot of work to get the Vesta. To get that Qang, they'd have to negotiate with the person who designed her, pay something to be able to use it officially, clear it with CBS...
I think the Luna may have been an easier case of CBS actually owning the design entirely, unlike the Vesta. I don't know. But B-Canon ships like the Qang may be a difficult proposition.

+1
I've always been fond of the Constellation class and variants, for a long time when the Cap was at Level 50 my main ship was a Mirror Universe variant that I think was a secondary prize in a lockbox which, if memory serves, cost me 100k EC from the Exchange
It may well have been "overworked and underpowered" but it did a good job for a long time for me - I even ended up getting a Fleet T5U version of the ship and the classic Constellation skin for it, out of pure sentiment. I still fly that version occasionally (did my CCA run yesterday in it, as a matter of a fact) and I would buy a fully-fledged T6 Constellation in a heartbeat.
Who knows maybe when the Nova comes to tier 6, they'll toss in a KDF and Romulan tier 6 science bird to match?
