Great.... not only do you lock away the ships from the majority of the playerbase, they are also OP as hell.

Not surprising in the least. Have fun ruining trust of some players, this doesn't make it any better.

Another peak of idiocy. Didn't think that was possible so short after yesterdays announcement, but congrats Cryptic, you managed it.
200 years outdated, small, weak ships now seem better than 25th, 26th and even 31st century ships.
I hope somebody will gift the TRIBBLE who thought of this promo, but especially of the ship's stats, a new brain since theirs seems not to be working. Or the $-signs in their eyes just drown every logical thought.
Sad...

It's funny, I don't think they look particularly OP. The 3xLtCmdr is intriguing, but there are drawbacks to having only four Boffs compared to 5 or 6. Nothing else looks especially OP. It looks well built. Different, not better.
It's pretty much what could be expected. No surprises.
Combonite is a bit cheesy, but then again the whole of TOS is cheese.
It was interesting to see, but no sale ( no R&D sale to gain access to them) for me.
Especially the TOS style ship design rubs me the wrong way.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I stopped believing in the fairy tale that CBS doesn't allow an endgame Constitution when the reply to "At least give us a T5 Excalibur/Vesper/Exeter!" was "CBS doesn't allow an endgame Constitution." Yes, Cryptic has been lying the whole time. Unfortunately they lied so long that my Federation Klingon was forced to get a Defiant-like ship with a battle cloak. So yeah, unless you offer a Constitution-class with the Romulan battle cloak from "The Enterprise Incident" I'm not interested. Too little, too late." I'm sure you'll still find plenty of people who will pay for it, but I'm not one of them.

Whelp -- Looks like I'll be trying to get at least 2 of these ships, if not all three... damn it. I also need to change my sig. The stats are great, But I really wish they ALL had intel as the secondary spec. Command and Pilot without the innate mechanics are kind of lackluster. Not gonna stop me from getting them of course.

Honestly, that is the only thing that could possibly one-up the troll factor at this point. Of course now that I've said that, I fully anticipate it to be worse.

I think the Romulans are getting the short end of the stick on this one. Less fire power, much less hull, less shields. She turns better yes, at least she has that. Over all though i have nothing left in the coffers to even try to get her. Good luck to everyone going after these may you get them within the first 4 trys.
Space is vast, it's wonderful and maddening. Yet in that madness is some of the greatest beauty I have ever seen.
Hmm. The first Triple Lt.Cmdr ship and the first ships with the ability to slot 7 spec abilities. Nice example of power creep, I think - slightly better then what we had before, but not so much that people start crying murder.

No. Things just changed. That was always a possibility. It seems likely (but I think still mostly speculation and we are probably never getting a clear official answer on that) is that the "No-Endgame-Connie" restriction was put in place for the new Star Trek Timeline that was launched around the same time as STO - to avoid any "confusion" or whatever marketing speak they use, only the Konnie was to be relevant, and Cryptic did not get rights to the new Konnie yet. But this has now, finally, for the 50 year anniversary of Star Trek and with the release of the 3rd movie in the Kelvin Timeline, changed.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
The Corbomite Maneuver might be useful in the type of queues where you have interact objectives that can be interrupted by enemy fire, like that Expanse Queue whose name I forgot.

Enhanced Battle Cloak. Singularity Powers. That's the package that all Romulan ships get, and they pay for it with blood, err, I mean hull and shields. And of course it's an Escort Type Warbird, so like most Escorts it has only 7 weapon slots.

Is there another ship with 3xLtCmdr seating? I can't think of one.
Unless I misread it, it's actually 4x LtCmdr seating, with the ability to slot a full 5 Level III abilities. Freakin amazing!
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

However.. those seating spots... 1 Commander and 3 Lt Commander?
AT first I was thinking if I got lucky and one would drop, that I would sell it... Now I'm not so sure... my AoY Tac may yet get the T6 TOS Connie (refit skin)...

Enhanced Battle Cloak. The T5U T'varo is already a lethal stealth bomber. The T6 malem tops that with the pilot seating and this temporal warbird takes it to the next level with the temporal and pilot combo.
The only thing which the romulans can grind their teeth about is the 23c look.

With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.

Sarcasm?
Lol, I'm finding it kinda funny that these 23rd century remakes put my 25th century ships to shame.

The Corbomite Maneuver seems kind of "meh" in a game where things tend to die within 3 seconds of opening fire.
The Molecular Deconstruction beam is something I played with on my Paladin, and honestly it was nothing to write home about.
The Kelvin Timeline ships seem to offer more bang for their buck with their versatility.
I think the only thing these ships have going for them is the additional forward weapon slots, but over all they seem outclassed by better ships.
Still, I guess for the people who want their T6 Connie, yay?

You misread; they're T6, so they have 13 BOff abilities (in this case 1 seat x 4 from Cmdr + 3 seats x 3 from LtCmdr).
